When are the Christians going to make a stand? I guess they don't. I'm going to email Hal Lindsey about that.

However, none of this has taken Almighty God by surprise. He told us first.

True story:

There was 12 men in a boat and all of a sudden a bad storm came about on the water. The boat was being tossed to and fro. This one fisherman, named Peter, looked out upon the water and thought he saw Jesus walking on top of the water. He wasn't sure if he was looking upon a ghost or if he was seeing his Master and friend he hadn't seen that day.

He calls out to this figure....."Lord, if that is You, let me come out to you!"

Jesus replied: "Come on, Peter!"

It was a miracle that he could hear His Savior over the loud storm. So, this man, Peter, gets out of the boat, and I'm sure he wasn't very graceful. He began walking to Jesus on top of the water!!! It WAS another miracle!!! Then it happened....a thunderous sound from behind Peter. He wanted to look, no, keep looking at Jesus.....he wanted to look....no....keep looking at Jesus. Why wasn't Jesus concerned about this noise! Surely He could see the danger coming upon them. Didn't He care? Was Jesus even noticing? Maybe he should look and explain it to Jesus....the noise was so loud! Peter turned around to see a humongus wave about to sink them both, but only Peter sank. If it hadn't been for Jesus being right there, he would have drowned! He failed his test.....or did he.

So what is the moral of the story?

1) To keep your eyes always on Jesus? Yes
2) Jesus knows what waves are coming our way, and we need to trust Him and not circumstances. Very true.

But there is something that most folks don't even think about. Peter was the only one with enough faith to get out of the boat in the first place. No one else thought about it. So, I said all of that to say this: We all need to get out of the boat and let our voices be heard.....either by witnessing to the lost, comforting a broken spirit, being kind to someone who has wronged you, (that one is really hard) helping those who are hungry and sick, or making sure other Christians know what is going on in the world.

Lisa, you do an excellent job of bringing important news to this forum. Thank you for getting out of the boat. I already know what you're going to say, but you find and bring the most interesting, end time articles to this forum and I am very grateful to you for your efforts. We need to support each other, lift each other up in prayer, and be an Aaron and Hur as well. I will be passing info on to my dear Christian friends. I can't get out much, but God invented the internet and computer just for me! HA!
