I like using graduated cylinders for 100 or more ml. Get a good 100ml cylinder and a small funnel if your going into bottles directly. I mainly use this for mixing 250ml bottles of base.

For smaller amounts like a 30ml bottle, a 30ml blunt tip syringe makes it easy to make a 30ml or smaller bottle from the larger bottle of base.

That's pretty much as large a batch as I get. If your looking to make gallons at a time i couldn't tell you.

buy bigger bottles? I mix in a two inch deep plastic pan to contain possible spills. Use a 30 mil syringe or there are appropriate glass graduated cylinders. Once you get your recipe all figured out, blend in say a 250 ml bottle. When you want some in a more easily handled bottle, like a ten mil, then shake the 250 ml real well then fill up enough ten mil bottles to satisfy the needs of all of your buds at once.

I prefer bottles I can shake over cylinders, but that's just my personal preference. You can grab a 16 oz bottle (glass or HDPE plastic) from various plastic companies (they sell glass too) which will make things a little easier when it comes to shaking & blending.

From there, a syringe with a blunt tip needle will still allow you to pull X ml out of the bottle and fill smaller bottles as needed. The bottles that RTS Vapes packages their nicotine, PG and VG in are similar to what I use.

i usually mix in 500 ml or more. graduated bottles, cylinders and syringes. mixing large quantities is good for steeping. there is always 2L of liquid steeping in my homemade laboratory. also i would suggest you get 100 mg/ml nic. i have the capability of making some 10L of liquid at any time, pair that with various RDA's and RBA's. just in case :2cool:

You didn't mention how much at a time you were wanting to mix, so this may be overkill. I've been considering getting a 4 quart stainless stock pot and drilling a hole in the center of the lid for a mixer attachment. I'd use beakers and syringes to measure the ingredients and dump them into the pot to mix.

I remember a video someone posted here of a vendor's facility where they were showcasing their attention to cleanliness in their lab. They had a shelf full of plastic containers similar to the drinking water ones in the grocery store with the spigots on them only more industrial looking. From that container they filled squeeze ketchup bottles with the pointy tip like you see in a diner and the worker had rows of 30 ml bottles he was filling with the squeeze bottle. Not very high tech, but as efficient as you can get without expensive automated machinery.

That's my plan anyway. If our elected officials get their heads out of their arses with this debt and budget circus and the FDA can finally shat or get off the pot, I want to try to market some juice locally. Nothing huge, but enough to build a nice nest egg for an early retirement

I'm looking for a way to mix larger amounts of eliquid.. what will I need? What to do? that sort of thing.. Me and a few friends of mine are trying to find a more efficient way to mix eliquid. Haha we are getting a bit tired of shaking a little 10 ml bottle every time ;)
thanks!

How many ml at a time do you want to make?

And are you mixing the Same Nicotine levels and PG to VG ratios every time?

A 5 gallon pickle bucket.... Seriously!!!
1 Gallon VG
1 Gallon PG
2 liters 100mg PG based nicotine
1 liter VG
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
a bunch of 500ml and 250ml brown bottles
1 empty freezer
Mixed everything very well in the bucket with a very clean cooking spoon (note: everything was cleaned and then rinsed with vinegar, than rinsed with distilled water and air dried), capped the bucket for a day in a cool, dark area, mixed again the next day.

Wore gloves and safety glasses.. used funnels and a (semi) strong back to pour into the containers (didn't spill a drop!)

Rebottled 1 of the gallon jugs and the 1 liter bottles and the rest went into the 500ml brown bottles (all washed and rinsed as stated above)

Majority is in the freezer Almost 3 gallons made (about 10.5+ liters )
