I have ordered a whistle drip tip really just to replace the round tips on my cartomizers. But for tasting, exactly HOW do you do it without mixing up the tastes that are dripped on the atty? Do you have to blow out the atty each time you change flavors? Surely not ...... Currently for tasting, I drip 2 drops on my 808 and use an empty (no filler) cart to taste. But should I then be blowing out the atty every time I switch to a new flavor?

I blow it out in between flavors. Depending on the previous flavor it can take a couple of cycles of dripping for it to get completely switched over but not long if you blow it out really good in between. I've tried the PG/VG flush and other methods and they work but it's just extra effort and doesn't save any time imo.

You can also use a DSE901 atty on your 808, and if you have manual batteries you can use a drip tip with that.

It is hard to test juices individually. I blow out the atty between flavors, reprime, wait, then vape/drip the new flavor until I think I am tasting it alone. I line up the flavors from delicate to strong to cloying based on my guess, then start testing at the delicate end,

If you really wanted to taste them separately you could buy a bunch of attys, get the primer off them, then test one juice on each, then wash all of them.

a drop or 2 of unflavored PG or VG will help clear out the last flavor. There is also a product called Atty Refresher that I've heard is good at removing residual flavors.

I have to get out more, never heard of that!!!

I just blow the atty out, vape a few drops of plain VG (or PG if you prefer), and then onto the new flavor.

My current flavor testing style.

Cut CE2-X wick.
Rinse empty CE2-X coil w/ few drops PGA.
Blow dry w/ mouth.
Direct drip one drop flavored liq on coil.
Vape.
Another drop.
Vape.

    in a cave, eh?

If you want to test 12 sample bottles, you'll want to set aside 12 nights of testing / atty refresher. LOL. :D

Use a separate atomizer for strong flavors like: Coffee, Cinnamon, Chocolate, etc.

You can either just drip the new flavor over the old one and wait for the new flavor to take over, or you can just drip PG or VG between flavors. :)

If you really get serious about testing flavors, you could look at removing the wick from an atomizer to keep it from holding old flavors.

That "refresher" sounds kind of sketchy to me. I'd rather just buy another 306 for the price.

A 306 with a canon tip works well for testing juices. If that doesn't cut it, a PGA soak, followed by warm water and a quick dry in the boiler room will clear it out. If you have a few to swap between, you're all set.

Cheap cartos work as well. Don't like the juice? Toss out the carto. You'll spend more on the juice you decide you don't like, than the 1$ on the carto you toss out after you decide you don't like it.
