I tried to look around and see if this question has been answered but couldn't find it.

How do you keep different flavors of eliquid separate? Do people use different carts/atomizers for each flavor?

Right now I use one atomizer for light flavors, menthol, fruits, etc., and a different one for heavy flavors, coffee, ry4, etc.

I still get some flavor mixing which often doesn't taste good.

Is there a better way to do it?

Thanks.

Everybody has their ways of doing it, and I'm sure you'll get some varied suggestions.

As for me, I just mix my flavors, one after the other.
Generally speaking, it only takes a drag or two to get the new flavor coming through.

That, of course, does not apply to things like menthols or atomic cinnacide.
Although even those can mix suprisingly well with other flavors sometimes.

But when there is a flavor I really want out of the atomizer, I just blow it out really, really good.
Some of those "sticky" flavors still may hang around for six or seven drags though.

When I used to use carts (never again) I'd just use a new one for every new flavor and blow out my atomizer before putting that cart on. I now drip only and use a different atomizer per flavor.

Also when re-using a cart for the same flavor I would just have a rubber band and slip that cart under the band and around the corresponding bottle of flavor so I'd know which cart was what flavor

As a dripper I have 4 attys in rotation. I have it easy because I dont switch flavors often. I use a flavor for atleast 3 days str8 sometimes as long as 2 weeks. 1 atty is a backup and doesnt get used unless I blow an atty(hasnt happened to me yet). When I switch to my third flavor I soak the 3 old attys in hot water for about 12 hours and then let them dry over night. I take 1 with me for a backup just incase and the other 3 get a new flavor when I feel its time. Works well for me but many people switch more often than I do.

i also just blow my attys out realllllly well, then before i add a new flavor i put my unit back together and take one or two small puffs to make sure the flavor is gone. but u have to b careful doing this, as vaping a "dry" atty is an easy way to pop one. if i have some extra time or a particularly stubborn flavor i plug the bottom hole and fill the atty from the top with pure alcohol, then blow it out really hard and fast into a few tissues, let it dry over night( do not try to vape alcohol) and use again the next day. good luck

You got that right. I tried some coffee juice, and even after a PGA rinse there was still a trace of it.

Other than that, all the juices I use tend to mix well together, so I don't worry too much about it. But if you really want to keep things seperate, then you'll probably need to dedicate an atty to each flavor.
