Ok, so i'm having a major quandry, here. I use boge cartos, both rubberized and steel cases. I'm hooking two friends up with eGo kits, variety of juices and cartos for xmas, so now I really have to figure out how to effectively and permanently mark cartos/mini bottles with data on whats inside it. I've tried permanent sharpies... wears off and smears on cartos, condoms, and tiny bottles. Nail polish doesn't work, either.. chips right off. What do you guys use to 'label' your stuff? I'm going nuts here, and i've got to come up with some system that works, and ideally looks nice, also. Any ideas? Thanks so much! I've tried so many things, and all i've got is a sticky smeary mess. ;)

I've got one of those Brother labelmakers you can get at Staples, etc. A decent one that will print multi-line and such is really pretty cheap. The only problem is the label tape; it's proprietary to Brother and it costs out the a*$! Other than that, they work great. Print multi-line with small print, use a pair of scissors and a magnifying glass, and you can cut out really small ones to stick right on the carts.

Different colored driptips work for me, since I don't have a ton of juices. Right now I'm vaping all AVE tobaccos; I've got a black driptip for Boba's, a red one for Flue-Cured, an Orange one for Raf-a-Licious and a silver one for Gorilla Juice. (Oh, and a green one for Blue Mist Vanilla Mint, forgot that one!) I like this system because I only use cartos when I go out and at home I drip, so what I do is buy two of each color driptip, one for use on a dripping atty and one for use on a carto. Having one color stand for one flavor regardless of whether I'm dripping or using a carto helps me remember which flavor is which no matter what. Of course, if you have a ton of juices, this may not be manageable or cost effective. I remember at some point someone posted a link packages of different colored carto caps! Lemme try searching...

Ow wow... Salami, I LOVE those! What an amazing idea! And perfect for me, since i want to fill some cartos up for my friends with different flavors so they don't have to mess with filling the first few days they're vaping and getting off the cigs. I think a combination of those multicolored end tabs, with corresponding colored dots (thanks, retird) on the little juice bottles, along with an oil based sharpie (that was suggested in the thread Allan.GH mentioned) that can list the name and components of the juice on the bottles will be a great combination!

You guys have all been so darned helpful! Thank you!!

Brother P-Touch labelmaker. I have a PT-1010 handheld (got it for about $18 shipped on sale). Runs on an optional AC adapter or six AAA batteries, which last a long time. I use rechargeables. Prints 1/4" single-line and 1/2" two-line label tapes of any length. I use the 1/4" black tape with white print for cartos/tanks, and the 1/2" white tape with black print for bottles. Mine has only one Helvetica-like font, but that's fine with me. Prints in three font widths (normal, 1/2 compressed, and 2X expanded).

The cartridges/cassettes/whatever hold 26' of label tape, enough to label about 100 cartos or bottles. The tape cassettes are pricey (even on eBay---$9-15 each, depending on size and color), but I buy four at a time on Amazon and get free shipping.

The labels have paper backing split down the middle for easy removal. They apply easily and hold well, but also peel off without leaving any residue. They're impervious to juice, and just about anything else apparently. Print is beautiful, and they look terrific.

I'm huge on the PTouch label maker, since I DIY. Ebay is a good source for tapes -- just picked up 6 1/2" black on white for $48 shipped.
Walmart little ziplocks, in the craft area, make it easy to keep small bottles and cartos sorted. Either the 2x3" or 3x4", $1 - $2 per 100. The ziplock with only the bottle is by definition the carto I am presently using.

Yeah, thinking a labelmaker is a good plan in the future. Wish i could find some super sticky no residue labels for the printer, though. That would be ideal. I have a bunch of sticky vinyl i got to make skins for things. Wonder if that would work for labels? But then I'd have to go printer happy every time i wanted to label something, and I have a rather hate/hate relationship with my printer. Guess its the colored dots paired with the colored carto tops/colored rubber bands for me till i get a labelmaker.

Until recently, I was very unorganized when it comes to vaping, I had lots of carto's in a small box, and I had to small them to know what was what.
But I found out that little ziplocked bags work well for me. I just keep a bottle + corresponding carto (with condoms) together in a bag, and put those in a box on my desk. I'm considering sticking labels on the bags with info about the carto (resistance).

Oh yay! I finally found the oil based sharpies that supposedly work and do not rub off or smear on plastic/metal/glass! They were suggested in one of the Labeling threads on the first page of this question. Here they are in case anyone else wants to snag some!
