Good call! Heheheh, I had just mastered the art of using a lighter to pop a bottle cap, and then I went and quit analogs!

Ironically, one of the last promo gifts that Marlboro sent me was a credit card sized bottle opener. It's just a thin piece of metal with an oval cut into it, and it's perfect for carrying in a wallet. Guess I'll have to start carrying that around with me!

use the striker plate on any door frame. insert cap at 45 degree angle, twist a wee bit to get a bite, then pull down and away. takes a little practice, but works everytime for me. I'll stick with heineken... corona for the loss

you can open a beer by just hooking the lip of the cap on a table edge and slamming your palm on top of it. or another unopened beer bottle, you can use a spoon, a folded 8x11 paper.

I'll slam a bottle on a corner in a pinch but I'm from the Pacific NW... our(good) beers don't come in the twist off or can variety and have alc %s = 2 coronas. 8% Imperial IPA anybody? How's about a 13% Hair of the Dog Matt?
