I know there's a long thread for pics of your setup, but how do you store your gear? Do you lay it down? Stand it up? Put it in a stand? Take the tank off?

I'm curious. I'm meaning mostly for during the day when you put it down, or overnight. I've got a ProTank 2 on a non-VV eGo battery (want to upgrade, waiting till Christmas presents are purchased for my wife and kids) and it's really top heavy. I'm afraid that it will fall over if I leave it standing upright.

I'm also curious how people are storing their liquids. Right now mine are all sample sizes, and I have them tucked into a cigar box that I grabbed at one of the cigar stores in town. It's a perfect fit for the smaller bottles, but it's not going to fit many that are larger.

Pics are welcome, descriptions would be good. Sorry if there's a post like this. I didn't see one.

in a warehouse buried near Univille SD
I drilled appropriate sized holes in rare and exotic wood (ok, it's actually construction grade 2x4 scraps - but I will eventually stain it a rare and exotic color - ok, I probably won't do that either because I spend all my time on this forum) to keep my devices upright and stable.

I thought about building something (out of copper plumbing pipe, actually, seems about the right size for my eGo) since I build stands for my headphones (OK, I've built 1, but I need to build another...maybe I'll incorporate a holder into the new stand). Just need to find the time to work on it.

Dakota Jim (wish I knew if you could tag users) - What size drill bit did you use? I have plenty of wood scrap, and that would certainly be easier than copper or PVC pipe.

For my mods and liquids, a Vaultz 'diabetic medical supply' locking case. Has four elastic slots (meant for hypodermics I'm certain) on one side for the mods, an elastic mesh pocket on the other side for smaller bottles of liquids and a small Velcro zipper pouch for drip tips. Usually have room left over for my batteries and a large bottle or two of liquid.

For the rebuilding supplies, another Vaultz case, this one is a pencil box. Plenty of room for wick, wire and tools.

In the car I have a Mad Carpenter hardwood mod/liquid holder that goes in a cupholder. Pretty solid piece.

Using an old tackle box that a neighbor left to me when he moved, it has enough trays and compartments for everything so far, but I see the need for a bigger one soon ...

Maybe a machinist's tool chest ?

The round can that Halo uses to ship their sample packs is perfect for holding seven needle-tip juice bottles, and the sponge filler catches any drips ...

Was just today thinking about making a stand from cedar. My brother cut a large cedar tree down and I kept a large section from it.Will probably saw off a section and take a couple of spade bits and make holes for my two eGo Passthroughs, holes for 2 bottles and an extra tank. I'll post pics when I get it done.If it turns out good,I may make a couple more and give them away to a couple of members that are as cash strapped as I am.;)

Not sent from a phone but the old fashioned way,on my lappy :w00t:

I have some awful "vaper-sprawl"going on. I have bottles and pieces in boxes and drawers. I have a couple of cartos standing up in an old analog box that I cut open. I keep my MVP upright in an empty drinking glass so that the furry wrecking ball doesn't knock it over or take up vaping while I'm asleep. I really need to get this nonsense under control....especially before my pile of vapemail comes from the holiday sales.

For those of you using tackle boxes, are there any specific brands/models that work especially well for the type of stuff that we have?

I made my own stand out of some scrap 1" x 2" poplar for my eGo batteries, spinners, and iTastes vv3. I use a cigar box for my bits and pieces that I rotate out (overflow clearo's), and I use a kaboodle box for my clearo's/atty's/carto's & tanks yet to be used. I also keep my DIY bottles, carto-punch, rubber caps, superglue, you name it in the kaboodle box. I have a plastic storage box with a lid for my DIY flavors and pipettes as well as my pg/vg and nicotine. I really need a working area for it all, maybe someday soon.
