How do you tell the chemistry of each cell or battery?

The Sanyo I understand, but the Panisonic NCR18650B I bought from a Vape shop, the selling point...that it's great for VV/VW mods (i.e. my Kbox) being it has a long batt. life but a lower amp.output... & not suitable for a Mech mod. (many online Vape shops sell these?). If I use the Panny in my kbox set to only 8W would I still have a problem?

In the case of if you run the Panny in say an SVD 1.0 or Vamo at a max of 15watts, yes the Panny works, in that KBox though, you are 20watts plus in output, you'll need at least a 10amp or 15amp CDR battery, thus the reason everyone is saying, scrap them and buy yourself some better batteries, Samsung 25R, LG HE2 or 4, LG HB6, Sony VTC 3, 4, or 5, Xtar XT-VTC4, even any of the AW IMR Red batteries are 10x better than what you got atm.

The manufacturer of the kbox recommends using a 20a CDR battery, it’s also in the instruction manual.
No one that you should listen to would say " sure, go ahead stuff an insufficient battery in there and see what happens".
