I go online to find flavors I like or might like, visit local shops to try the flavors, order sample packs from the websites. My hubby has a drip system, so it makes it easy. Local vapor clubs on facebook can also be good. You can meet fellow vapors, and sample there. I also read these boards and see what they recommend based upon general flavors I like. I've sampled tons of flavors lately. Also, keep some coffee around when you're sampling. your taste buds can be overloaded if you're sampling a lot of flavors at a time. good luck :)

I just started with an EVOD kit and a 1300 spinner so basically only two clearomizers. Ordered a 5-pack of EVOD heads today so I can get through trying the ten different tobacco flavor samples I have. So far have tried three and two are winners. The plan is to switch to carto's / tanks after settling on four go-to's that I will keep on hand and ready. At only five or so bucks for each EVOD with a coil the expenditure seems reasonable.

I don't always buy juice locally, but when I do- I sample flavors.

I try to keep the equipment expense as simple as necessary...

This is the only way I have done it and it keeps me from having a problem later on with cleaning out my tank or whatnot. But, I think I may get some disposables just for the purpose of sampling!

I've sampled at the 2 B&M in my area. But still being new to all the gear, I bought extra coil packs for my evod, extra tanks online and learned to rebuild the kanger coils. For taste tests, I'll use one of the cheap clearos and partially fill. If I don't care for the juice, I'll dump, clean the tank, soak the coil and move to another flavor. Looking at the cost of a 510 drip atomizer, I accomplished the same thing with cheap clearos.
