How does a person become a Veteran, or be able to post replies to the ask the Veterans forum?

Ya know, when I looked at his original post about this I coulda swore his Veteran status wasn't showing. Come back and then it is.

This I found this member. Well past the 1 year anniversary, post count 413... not showing Veteran status.

Does this have anything to do with account status going inactive and taking some time for certain status flags to kick in once activity resumes?

Rick, that's probably just because his last login was before his 1 year mark. Now that it's past the date, his status should update when he next logs in
