How does nicotine strength effect flavor and throat hit?

I started about 3 weeks ago, and have been ordering up sample flavors like a madman. I found a tobacco flavor I love (VS Tampa), but I would like to consider a lower nicotine strength than I have now. The thing is, that I am about to order 3 months worth of the stuff, since I am leaving on an extended trip.

So the big question is, if I lower the nicotine strength, will I end up with a milder flavor and throat hit?

For example, among the stuff I ordered, I got a sample of Perique tobacco from Vaperite, and the basic flavor I LOVED, but it seemed week on the throat and not full bodied. Could that be that I had a lower nic strength than the Tampa?

VG is lighter on throat hit and heavier on vapor, whereas PG is harder on TH lighter of vapor. If you've found a flavor you like and a nicotine strength that suits your craving, you might just try adding a couple drops of pure grain alcohol (PGA) or Everclear. It can make TH harsh quickly tho, so go slow if you choose this route. Worked for me.

If juices are made properly then lowering the nic will not lower the flavor from flavoring. However it WILL lower throat hit and peppery sensation in the flavor because most of that is usually nicotine. That will actually let you taste the real flavor more clearly.

Throat hit is mainly nicotine, and is improved by heat, dulled by VG
