Hey funny you should ask Im just trying out my new pen ,thought Id try one after being on the 901s and Screwdriver since I started vaping

To be honest it takes ages to get the prime liquid out of the atomiser

YUCK

but have finally got it all out and can 100% taste my favorite juice now

its much much less kick in the throat but somehow its smoother.

don't think you can call it more flavour just less hard

hitting , I think Im going to stick to my 901s

only bought it hoping it would still kick the same and because

of the penstyles larger capacity catridge.

But on well ! Have to wait for the 901 MK2

with the longer last all day cartridge

(if someone will hurry up and invent it !!)

:)

Rob - the only penstyle I have is the Janty KB and I'm generally happy with it. I don't know about other models but polls done here show the highest satisfaction levels for the Janty KB - but not as high as for the 901. I guess you'll have seen this already.

If you're happy with a penstyle, it's not a huge leap to think about a e-cigar. I'm getting better flavour from my Shimmer (and good throat hit) but I've only had it a day.

my experience is totally different. My 901 and 103 is my backup. I use my pen all the time and for me, it gives a better kick but less harsh. I taste the juice better too. 901 does drag a little easier but when you take your time to slowly puff the pen, it is much more satisfying. My biggest complain with the 901 is that i have to keep on topping the juice every 10 good puffs or so....

another thing i notice is the smoke from the pen seems finer than the 901. Nicer feeling when it leaves the mouth. Also, when you drip on the pen, the kick is simply the best.

Anybody here besides me that always accidentally blocks the hole on the 901 with your finger?

YES! Lol.
I do find the vapor finer on the pen. Also the mouthpiece on the pen is smaller, which is easier to hold in the teeth.

The 901 does produce good vapor, though mine needs a little fanangling from time to time since I'm getting used to it still.

I don't consider the KB a penstyle at all. I put it in a category all its own. It is the exact same size as a penstyle but it has a switch that eats up like an inch and a half. So it has a mini size battery on it that doesn't last as long. When I use my KB as my main I have to have two or three chargers charging KB batteries to last a whole night. Sometimes its worth it. The advantage of a real penstyle is the battery length as well as monster smoke.

I started out with a penstyle, and am very happy with it. My only exposure to the 901 atomizer is on the SD, which I recently got not because I didn't like my penstyle, but because I wanted the longer battery life per charge and cheaper replacement/extra battery cost of the SD. But, I'm definitely not happy with the 901 atomizer, and I'm desperate for an adapter that will allow me to fit a pen atomizer on my SD. I agree with Fedor, for me the 901 needs topping off all too often, especially after being used to a penstyle.

(I'm in the middle of trying to follow the directions I've seen here for that adapter, but it's not going too well so far; not having all the tools necessary I'm seeking help from better equipped and more skilled friends.)
