How exactly does a Reo Mini work?

A few questions....

I've been looking at reo mini's and I'm wondering how they work? Right now I am using a bloog and an eGo T. I'm fed up with fibre and clogged cartomizers and having to fill carto' and such. Not to mention the burnt taste, having to toss (or try and clean) them blah blah blah

I've been watching youtube vids on the mini's and I think I'd like one but I don't understand what type of mouthpiece goes on them. What kinds can you use and do they require fibre?

A friend of mine said he read reviews on them about leakage. I haven't found a vid yet that talks about that. So, does anyone here know if they leak or not?

Any help would be appreciated.

The only leak the reos have is the extra juice that goes into the catch cup. Just make sure if you are going to throw it in your pocket to vape down all the extra juice in the cup. I was also an ego-tank user and know all about the leaking tank issues. And was also a bloog/volt user and know about clogged cartomizers especially with VG based juices.

The reos will take 510 or 306 atomizers or cartomizers. I personally prefer the cheap joye 510/306 atomizers from rtdvapor.com. They also sell nice drip tips there and pretty much everything else you will need to start with a reo.

As a proud Reonauti, i can only tell you how cool and trouble free a Reo is, and how much it changed my vaping experience. I first started vaping with an E-cig similar to your bloog, and it just didnt do it for me for many reasons; So i had decided to buy mods to see what the experience was like and if it was any better than my 2 piece Kr808-D. My first mod wasnt a Reo, and it was ok, but i still had the same issues with cartomizers (what you would call a fibre mouthpiece i guess from reading your post) and having to fill a bunch every night for the next day. Then i read and watched video reviews about the Reo's and i became obsessed with getting one (i currently own 2). This was the thing i had been looking for !!!! no more carrying a bunch of bottles and carto's, no need to refill carto while driving in car .... All of that was behind me thanks to my Reo. Now as far as what you can fit on a Reo, you can keep using cartomizer, or even better you can use an atomizer and a drip tip which personally i think tastes better and is more convenient to change flavours. Leakage is not a problem i have experienced with my Reo's except for the occasionnal flooding of my atty and/or those times where i used to much liquid and didnt finish my current "cup". And another plus on the Reo, is the fact that its a mechanical mod, no electronic to rely on, simple mechanical connection, you can carry 3ml of your juice in a Mini and 6ml in the Grand. And bottom feeding is easy once you get the hang of it, and we have a term for that its called squonking. A little pressure on the bottle until you see some juice glisten in the cup, then a sharp unpowered hit, and you are experiencing vaping Nirvana.

I'm hoping this huge post is being informative to you, and also that it makes you want to buy a Reo

Note that I'm not working for Reosmods.com but I'm purely a fanboy of a magnificient PV. You can get adapters that will work as well. Not all work perfectly with the juice feeder, but I use an Ego atomizer on mine and it works. You can also use cartomizers too.

You basically squeeze the bottle in the Reo which force juice up the center hole in the atomizer and onto the element. Too much juice and it will flow back down an into the juice cup. It's not a leak per se, but just a natural part of using feeder systems. The alternative is put up with flooded atomizers all the time.

I am getting so frustrated. I do NOT want to go back to analogs but this whole vaping thing gets so complicated and expensive and frustrating, especially when there are two of us doing it. I just get the hang of one unit, think I like it and then I don't......which ends up costing me more money and to be perfectly honest it would be so much easier to just get in the car and go buy a pack of smokes. ...but I don't want to!! so I very much appreciate your replies.

From what I understand I need a couple of batteries and a charger. Does anyone know of a cdn supplier for those and if so, point me to the exact ones I need? I don't want to order the wrong ones.

Check rtdvapor.com for good prices on atomizers, batteries and chargers. He ships fast and the cost is cheap. I would suggest starting with some joye 510 atomizers + ming/pawn drip tips and going from there.

We've all been there. It can get frustrating to find your perfect vape and the learning curve is steep for those that chase the dragon.

By the way, I have no idea if the Ego-T atomizers will work with a Reo, but the regular Ego ones do (with the "shorty" closed adapters). If you want to keep things simple, just try out a couple different 510 atomizers as they will not require an adapter with a Reo.

Just keep chasing that dragon and you'll get there.

I've been really happy with the hybrid bottom feeder attys from cloudsofvapor.com. I've also got some 1.5s from RTD that I'll be trying soon. I've never used attys on my ego, so I won't guess about the fit on a mini....

I'd say try a couple different attys and see what you enjoy most. I'd guess you'll be happiest in the1.5-2.0 range.

Everything you've listed will work with your Reo Mini.

Ohm is a measure of electrical resistance. For atomizers, the lower the number, the hotter the atomizer (more vapor, warmth and throat hit).

1.5 Ohms on a 3.7 V mod will give you quite a kick. It's what I use. Try all three listed there if you want. The world is your oyster.

They appear similar, but it doesn't look like the HV ones are Smoke Tech - if that matters. It wouldn't for me, if I were just testing stuff, but I know some people swear by their stuff.

And the Ohms are important, as it affects the power (Watts) in your vape. There is a math formula involved ( Ohm's Law Calculations With Power ), and from talk here, 8-10W is a nice spot to vape at. So, let's round that to 9W, throw in the 3.7v from the battery - then you just plug in your atomizers resistance. 1.5 hits at 9.67W. 1.8 hits at 7.6W, 2.0 at 6.8W. etc etc. It does change how hard you need to draw on your PV, from my experience, and can take a "Meh, this is kinda bland and weak" vape to "OMFG! Did someone get the license plate of that truck?!?". Conversely, it can crank some flavors too high, and give you a bit of a burnt or 'off' taste.

The 510's are the same, just different brands (and resistance), and thus will perform differently (subtle differences). On that Reo page there's a 901 and a 306 as well. These are different. The 306 has the same threads as a 510, but I don't think the 901 does. I've heard 306 is warmer and 901 is cooler, but I've never tried them myself. There are plenty of 306 fanboys around here tho.

No adpater needed, but you will need a 306 drip tip. I think it comes with a cheapy plastic cap that will work as a mouthpiece in a pinch... but it's ghetto.
