How is Hannibal dealing with the new smoking ban?

Since customers can no longer smoke inside the bar,
owners have started selling electronic cigarettes,
which they say they can hardly keep in stock.
:)

Short video ...
Of course, ya have to watch a commercial first
:p

At least e-cigs weren't included in the smoking ban
+1 for Missouri

Oh, by the way for those who might not know it ...
Hannibal, MO is Mark Twain's home town.

Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world.
I know because I've done it thousands of times.

Just got back from visits out west with the kids. One son took us to Virginia City, NV where we toured the Mark Twain museum.

In 1861, Clemens' brother orion was appointed secretary to the territorial governor of Nevada. Clemens jumped at the offer to accompany orion on his western adventure. He spent his first year in Nevada prospecting for a gold or silver mine but was no more successful than the vast majority of would-be miners. In need of money, he accepted a job as reporter for a Virginia City, Nevada, newspaper called the Territorial Enterprise. His articles covering the bustling frontier-mining town began to appear on this day in 1862. Like many newspapermen of the day, Clemens adopted a pen name, signing his articles with the name Mark Twain, a term from his old river boating days.

Note: I took the picture above, illustrating that this modern city had indoor "facilities" during the 19th century. The museum is located in the basement of a building that houses a store selling local souvenirs.

Now the town I was born in has the Washington House where Washington slept a very long time ago and where my uncle, whose family had the town named after them, spent his last days in relative poverty. They had a thriving cigar box business back in the day that I suppose the cigarette killed.

I wonder if the Washington house had "acomodations" like that back in the day?

Of course not. They haven't been cured of their addiction.

That's why ANTZ keep repeating, "E-cigarettes are not a proven cessation aid."

ANTZ think the public won't catch on that they omitted the word "nicotine" between "proven" and "cessation," which would have made their statement true, but not as tricky.
