That is Freya.
We adopted her from the shelter as a tiny kitten years ago.
The entire litter was abandoned at that shelter and they all had bad eye infections.
Freya was the only one that did not respond well to the antibiotics. The vet had to remove that one eye.
For a cat with no depth perception, she does amazingly well.

There's a video I saw somewhat recently, completely blind kitten playing. They adapt "easily" (much like people) when one of there senses are lacking. Ah ha! Here it is, Oskar The Blind Kitten. Commence Awwwwwwww-ing.

She's lovely- looks like my Samantha.

Oh, jeez, made me cry and fall in love with him and Klaus!

In answer to the OP, my cat is thrilled not to stand at the porch door yelling at me to come back in a quit smoking- frees up a lot more of her time to be a lap cat!

I just want to let everyone know that PG is extremely poisonous to cats.

I read the actual paper people have been citing. The amounts they were feeding those cats to cause heinz body formation (flaw in red blood cells that leads to organ damage/failure) were insane……on the order of 10% of their protein intake. PG is also in a lot of other things they're exposed to: dish detergent, hand soap, shampoo, people food, etc..

I'm not saying it's 100% safe, but vaping seems like a drop in the bucket compared to what they get from eating out of clean dishes and being petted with clean hands.

That being said, now that I know 100% VG juice works in my vivi nova, I'm switching to 100% VG juices when I'm inside.

As to the actual question………they haven't reacted. I never smoked inside, partially because I didn't want my pets breathing that :censored:. And I haven't noticed any behavioral changes at all except that they know that part of the kitchen is not the place I put the tuna on a plate or mix the meds into the wet dog food (gf's dog had a bout of ........ probably from eating a plant……vet gave him a clean bill of health…it's a broad spectrum antibiotic just in case).

(yes, my cat eats Tuna sometimes……according to my vet, it's actually really good for her)

My neighbors dog hates when people are smoking, but when I bust out the no bake cake it's hard to even vape! I guess she thinks we have food for her, even my girlfriend thinks the vapor smells good.
Shouldn't be bad if they breathe in some. Is it? I mean most nic is absorbed by then..

Hello all =)
I just had to respond to this!!! I have a white maltese/westie terrier who's name is Drake; (and NO he's not named after the rapper..LOL) anyways, I notice my dog breathes better after I started vaping and whenever I take him outside he's always in my lap. He used to run away whenever he'd see mommie light up a cigarette. He doesn't act curious; but I still use the batteries that look like an actual cigarette- but he comes around ALOT more than he used to. I know my husband will be happier once he gets off his tour of duty in Korea. He's estastic!

Ugh
I was reading a provari vs twist thread. The cats came over to look and haven't stopped wresling since. I know the flamepoint likes the provari...darn tabby must be a twist lover.

The siamese/himmy came over to tell the little ones it was all about not smoking and the kittens won't listen to big brother.

I'm sure there is no need but I thought I would remind people how dangerous the nic juice can be to our little friends.
It's not just the bottles of juice but the PV's as well.
If one were to drop off a table and break open and spill a couple of ml for a cat or small dog to lick up...

Yep I clean up and do not leave the juice out. My cat is too curious and sometimes tests thing with her tongue. Good point.

She opens her own vape mail. I found her new iTaste charged to my credit card! Lol

But seriously, animals back away from alcohol or tobacco or smoke (but not e-cig vapor).

Why are they so smart? Or why are we so stupid?

When I had a drinking problem my cat would be nowhere to be found. She tolerated the cigar but at a distance. Didn't like the smell either.
