How heavily does the amount of nicotine weigh in on the Throat Hit of the juice?

I've tried 0 nic juice, and got no throat hit whatsoever. I vape 24mg only right now, I never feel like I'm getting too much nicotine from the 24mg, and I vape quite a bit. I can't use anything below 18mg because I can't feel it anymore. I tried an analog the other day and couldn't get throat hit off of it either. Maybe my tolerance is a little too high because people that I let try my ecig nearly cough up a lung every time!

Some juices provide a good TH no matter the nic level. Applewood Tobacco from BWB is a great example. - Cinnamon and Spearmint juices tend to have a good TH - and I have read many times that menthol crystals are worth using to increase TH (if you're in to menthol - - not for me, but lots of people like it)

I have some 16mg Menthol Burst from Volcano that gives me what i think is an almost perfect throat hit.
I have a bottle of Menthol Burst with 0 nicotine on the way for contrast.
At this moment i am using Minnesota Menthol from Vermillion River Ejuice with 0 nicotine in it.

I want to get off the nicotine if i can, im not super worried about it, but it would be nice. I have a feeling i would probably still vape or for awhile, but i really wanna get the nicotine out eventually.

The MN Menthol i am vaping right now gives me a throat hit, albeit subtle, but it might just be enough to keep me going. Maybe i will cut 16 to 8 to 4 and so on to ween off both e the nic and throat hit lol. I would be curious to see what their higher nic levels of this juice feel like.
