Its 3.7v but I didnt post to correct you but only to share, Ive never smoked menthol in the 30 years I smoked, but a couple of drops menthol in a tob flavor will give it a better th and actually makes it taste more like a real cig. I never found a tob ejuice that was even close to tasting like an analog. For me a good TH is becomming of less and less importance. For me it was a big change switching to vaping because vapor is thinner than smoke and a throat hit or lung hit was important. I havent had an analog for 2.5 months now and I am use to vapor so to me a TH isnt that important now but for some funny reason vapor prod sure is.

Thanks Brewster - I'll get some menthol flavoring and give that a try. But getting back to the battery deal - would a higher voltage battery give a better throat hit or will I still probably be dealing with the same situation. I would love to say it's not important and probably more in my head than anything -- BUT I really crave that right now in a big kind of way ! 8-o

Just as an experiment try using a neti pot for 2-3 weeks-

It will clean up your sinuses and your sense of taste and smell.

It allows you to actually feel and taste what your doing with your equipment.

This has been the single most hassle reducing thing I've done to reduce the

"heartbreak of vaping" i.e. endless screwing around with equipment.

I now spend 98% time enjoying vaping and 2% time maintaining equipment.

I've tried HV mods but now regular 3.7 V anything are just great.

I'm using a lot less juice to get a lot more satisfaction.

For me this was the key to a great vaping experience.

It takes a bit of patience and virtually NO cash. It has been nothing short of

amazing to me.

Hi volt has some advantages but also some disadvantages. First of all Hi Volt will go through more juice. Second many say unless you get hi volt attys that hi volts goes through attys faster. I personally dont see paying 100+ for a modded flashlight. Many say 6v gives their juice a burnt flavor.

Hi volt will give you more vapor and a stronger TH. I like 5v on my 901 and a PT. Speaking of a PT it is a cheap way to see if HV does it for you

Hi guys! Sorry I'm late to the party I find that putting the vape down for a while and switching between menthol and cappuccino/555 in another type of attie is good for times of deminishing throat hit!

I guess we all have bad vaping days when nothing seems to satisfy not even our 6volt PVs and then even the flavour goes :( Those days are less often for me than they used to as I find something like video games to make me forget about the vape for a while hehe!

--EDIT-- oh and make sure it is not flight sim as there is too many opportunities to vape during the virtual flight :D

I vape loads playing video games, maybe why I keep getting murderd on modern warfare 2 lol.

I put the diminishing throat hit down to tolerance, even cigars don't really hit hard since vaping the 510, I vape 36mg and take really long draws though.. really should try and limit myself, everyone else who tries my ecig says it blows their head off, to me it's mild!!
