I saw a GLV-2 5v for sale in the classifieds and the seller stated that it gets warm and needs to be repaired. So... is the GLV not supposed to get warm while using it? I'm using the batteries I bought from Jay and have a Cisco LR 1.5 atty on it right now. Yes the batteries are in the correct way. The end caps get hot and the tube gets a little warm. Just thought I'd check in with other users to see if this is normal. I didn't think much about it until I saw the one for sale. Maybe ignorance is bliss?

My tube and end caps get hot from holding it in my hand.Does it vape okay?when you open it are the batts hot at all?If the batts arent hot,I would think your okay.If the batts ARE HOT,stop using it and send it in.

The vape is awesome! The batts are slightly warm. Maybe this is just how the GLV is dissipating the heat from the Cisco LR 1.5 atty. The head cap is the hottest being connected to the atty, the tube is pretty thick so it is warm and the end cap is thin so it is warmer than the tube. I just put on a 510 carto and can't get the GLV hot at all. I'm calming down from the paranoia now, got all worked up thinking that something may be wrong with my GLV. I think whoever bought the one in the classifieds just got a great deal.

The more you use and the harder you vape it in one sitting the more likely it is to get warm or even "hot". The LR atty might be a factor; I can vape a SR carto until it'll sear my skin and while the GLV gets warm, I wouldn't call it hot.

Like keyzy said, hot batteries would be a concern, but the GLV will always warm up with continued use.
