I guess necessity is the mother of copying invention.
I have only been vaping since 2/4/10 but have fallen head first into this activity. Like many, I first got a crappy kit that barely worked, then a 901 kit, got frustrated with the batteries and ordered a 905.
I had to send the 905 back after 3 days of use because it kept melting down and burning out attys.
With my only mod off in transit somewhere I was left with only my 901s and everything (attys, batts) were past their prime. Could only get a wisp of vapor.
As I became more and more frustrated I started thinking about Nicowolfs step by step post on the Nicostick and thought, hey what do I have to lose, $5.00?
So I ran out to a Radio Shack and got a batt. box ($1.69) and N.O. switch ($2.69). (I'm not counting the $7.00 soldering iron).
I've never held a soldering iron before but in less than an hour my first Nicostick was working!
This is kinda fun
So, thank you to Nicowolf! If you would have never gone to the trouble to make that post I would have suffered several more days of frustration and never known that I could use a soldering iron.
Cheers to all, Mark
