The only problem that I see to this would be if one has a question about any of the issues posted in a locked thread such as metal tables, coins, etc - then they would have to ask the question in another unlocked thread. Which requires more searching and wading.

It is easy for a moderator to cut and paste. I am a mod on another vaping forum and it is pretty easy. I even deal with the same format. I could do it. I didn't want to offer because this sub forum has much more traffic than I am use to. Not to mention it can take a while before you figure out what restrictions you need lifted to be effective. I would be more than willing to be one of the people who helps with this. So long as I am one of the people. I have been the only one too many times.

Drum

If we start with this, it means all the work already done is a waste of time..

Please, trust me here, lots of work has already been done to construct such a list already.

If this is your strategy, you are wasting your time. There should be a sticky thread devoted to important things that can be updated at any point by Imeo or Tim. There can be many sticky closed posts. The most important would be at the top. If this post was never updated, that would be fine. Maybe it would be the basic instructions, such as how to face the batteries. If you are looking for one thread, you are way off course.

As long as I am over stepping my boundaries, what exactly don't you agree with that I have posted thus far?

"I know that no GG has exploded"

we agree to that. Metal cant explode:lol:

"GG is a potential fire hazard"

As all manual cigs, with one more issue. But this issue happens once a year or never and the "e-cig in our pocket" happens all the time. And with GG can not happen as often as the other cigs with a front button.;)

"If you look at this forum you will see large pictures of bunnies that take up almost a third of a page"

I like people express themselfs more than other threads:D

"there should be some posts that only Imeo and Tim can access"

We agree to that:thumb:

"I guess I will wait until something else happens before I can get a safer switch"

There is no other way Drum:)

"I feel as though those who say the most have the least to say. I find this to be true in all aspects of life"

I disagree Drum. Its the most often but not always:)

"I have had some issues in the past with my GG that I have worked out in private with Imeo. I have had to do this with Trog with my SD as well"

exactly!!!!! Have one thread for updates for imeo and tim then lock it.
then have another thread for producion then lock it.
then have another thread for the user manual then lock it.
and of course one for things to watch out for.

the Bible - I am pretty sure -
will be laid out in such a way that the main thread will contain many threads within---
like a book ---
you will see the cover thread----
and all relevant different threads listed
inside in the index---

not one thread
a complex and comprehensive indexed book like format

Can I re iterate drum.........

This project is being done through Imeo, and nothing will be posted without his authorisation.

There is no point in posting an in depth guide, and then allowing everyone to post beneath any additionals they want..... it would simply end up like the very posts you are unhappy with...

It has to be well structured making it very easy to find the information you are looking for.

So I dont think I, or anyone else involved is wasting their time. Plus the only opinion of relavance here is Imeo's.

Thank you for responding. If you look at how much of the page this takes up, you will understand my frustration when looking at a threads about maintenance and seeing these lengthy rebuttals that have nothing to do with the thread. Also, I still think the people who have the most to say, say the least. Once already on this thread has someone summed up what I think in two sentences. I am not impervious to this rule. Thanks again for responding to what you don't agree with. By the way, my other manual "ecigs" don't fire when I put them on a table at work at the end of the night nor when I put them in my ashtray with a couple of coins. Don't try to pretend that all ecigs have the same issue with the switch that your does.

Oh fer cryin' out loud! It doesn't need to be this complicated. What ever happened to common sense? How about trying to use the search button within this forum if you need information about the switch or button or whatever issue you might have?

Mountains - molehills. Oye!!!

(I'm not near as patient as Christena - obviously.)
LOL now I see why your name is judge mental. :)

Once again, create at least one sticky closed post that only Imeo can update. This could help people with problems such as the GG being fired by metal such as coins. Just one sticky closed post. Keep on doing what you are doing. No matter how comprehensive it is, it is still a good idea. What was up to date yesterday, may need to be updated today.

Thanks again Drum for your nice reply, exept the last one.

Can you please tell me where exactly I "pretend that all ecigs have the same issue with the switch that your does"?

My reply was "As all manual cigs, with one more issue. But this issue happens once a year or never and the "e-cig in our pocket" happens all the time. And with GG can not happen as often as the other cigs with a front button."

Am I wrong?

I was stating that no other ecig has this problem with the switch. I over stated it and offended one of my friends (you Imeo). I am sorry. Once again, all of the times my GG has been activated by metal, it would not have happened with my SD. Every time I put my GG in my pocket, I take off the atomizer. I did this with my SD as well. I could put my SD in the ashtray of my car (that has coins in it) or set my SD on the table at the end of a night at work (these table are made of metal) and my SD would not fire. I am an experienced user of vaporizers. I don't have this issue with any other vaporizer I use. I have lost at least 5 atomizers before I understood that metal contact could make the GG fire. For an experienced ecig user this could happen very often. If it was just an issue of the button being pushed, I would have no problems.

Imeo already agreed to do that drum, quite a few posts back..

all I said, re this, is not to put additional pressure on him, I didnt mean to a specific problem .... if anyone posts a specific problem, then Imeo responds as quick as he possibly can.

What we would do, is take the problem, if it is a new one, and add it to the Bible.. so that in time, all issues and how to resolve them will be covered by the Bible.

Sounds great to me. Problem solved. I cannot wait to read the bible...by the way I once read the other one front to back. It took me four months. I am not saying I have it memorized, but it was a good read.
