Sharon

The Transformer is a brand new GG Sharon and as such is not on the site yet.

That particular page is for the GG Grant. I sent you there to look at that in order to see how the GG is generally sold, options etc.,

So you see... B would be the shell (body)
BA would be body and atomiser

and so on..

Price structure would be finally set by Tim on that site. So I couldnt say if the price given by Imeo would be the final price or not.

Imeo says it will be another 2 weeks before the Transformer is on sale, although a few GG Grants may come up mid week.

So all I can suggest is keep joining us in here for a chat and a pizza and keep an eye on Tim's site...:)

One thing I forgot to ask. If we order the Transformer, does the kit come with 1 or 2 batteries and ESPECIALLY does it come with a battery charger????

Thanks!!

The kit comes with any battery you want. If you want to use it like a trans you order 2 18650. If you want the grant you order 2xcr2. For nano you must order cr123A but you already have them.

There is a charger that Tribal suggest witch is a multi charger and for options for 3v and 3.7v, so there is no need for 2 or 3 chargers.

Conclution: If you want to have all options you by all batteries with this charger. You must buy them in pairs so one will be on charger and the other to GG.

Christena: I went to the GG page as you suggested and there were, as has been mentioned, options as to how and what we buy.

The option where you buy the whole kit and caboodle says:

GG OPTIONS:

B: GG Shell

BA: GG Shell + DSE901 stainless steel atomiser

BBC: GG Shell + 4 batteries (CR2) + charger
BBCA: GG Shell + 4 batteries (CR2) + charger + DSE901 stainless steel atomiser

So, the price Imeo gave us for the transformer (which equates to $172 US dollars) may I assume this is for the entire kit of the shell, 4 batteries, charger and atomizer?

the 120 pounds are for the B option Sharon. It was 95 and now 120 for the 3 cigs together and for all the other improvements:)

Señor Chef,

I have a GG from the last batch, so I am open for potential issues myself.

1. As with any charger...take batteries out of GG when not in use...you never left a LIT cigarette burning in your car, bedroom, etc. (maybe only after nodding out from copious amounts of substance)

2. Purchase a Case Logic Case (made for small hard drives) and keep your GG in it (also will carry extra attys, liquid, and with it's little netted purse holds your batts as well.) Fry's Electronics - $11.99

3. When the Auto Feeder becomes avail. for your atty of choice, Imeo will bring your GG up to current code.

4. Learn about the batteries commonly used with the GG. If your GG is getting unusally hot...The batteries are faulty, and NOT siutable for use! You will also notice a VERY short run time on them. I have a good Multimeter, and I have batts. that register 3.25 / 3.3, and they're still bad.

5. Apply a little common sense

6. Until then, issues solved...CASE CLOSED

Much Love,
Mr.e :D

:thumb::thumb::thumb:. I will tell Tim to make a guide and send it to all customers soon, exept my girls do it faster;):D

So with the transformer, which is what I want of course, I and anyone who orders will be getting a shell. OK by me! I'm sure I'll have questions but, sigh, perhaps the group is sorry (with all my questions) that I even ventured into this room.

I truly appreciate everyone's patience with me and Imeo, you've been an absolute doll!

No worries, Sharon. We all had lots of questions at first. At least I did and they still tolerate me.

(Most) of you do still tolerate me, don't 'cha?? :D

EDIT: And yes... Imeo is very patient and helpful!

no Sharon...dont worry, we love questions...lol

there have to be options, as many people keep buying GG's so they dont need many of the bits that would be included if there was a standard kit.

The point of the Transformer is to offer choice..

The Nano, was a smaller 3.7 V GG, small to the hand, and offering a kick at 3.7V.
The Grant, bigger than the Nano, offering a choice of 3.7V or 6V.

So Imeo found a way of incorporating this, with the additional choice of using a wider range of batteries, and even storage for atomisers included...lol

No one as yet has bought a Transformer, thats how new they are.

So, the options of different battery types will be there, as it wouldnt be a good idea to include too many different batteries, as you will end up using the ones you prefer and the others you would have paid for and not used.

So, this brings us back to options.

you can buy it with an atomiser, or if you have plenty at home, you wont need that option..

you can buy it with a choice of batteries, and can add more if you want, but they would be costed individually.

Has that helped at all?

see we all cross post rushing to respond....lol

Yup, we're a helpful bunch. It helps that we're all so entusiastic about our GGs. Just want to share the joy. Christena, you're the throrough one!

@Sharon... have you seen the video of the Transformer yet? If not, I'll try to dig it up for you.

@Imeo.. 'night, sweet man. Get some good rest.

Christena, Judge Mental, and of course Imeo, thank you.

LOL. NO Imeo, you may not change my name, I'm kind of liking it ;)

Truly, when it comes to batteries and anything mechanical, I'm a visual learner.

And, NOW I truly get the picture!! ETA: While you were all bending over backwards trying to help me, I was watching the below, which now I see you posted for me. I should have just stayed here and enjoyed the party!!

My hands are all sticky from e-liquid hehe! I vaped the 6 volt tonight, it was burnt and nasty, damn those rotten 901 atomisers! Need a 510 adapter!

So I vaped my 6 volt, 3 drops of Janty coffee, yummy at 3.7 volts yucky at 6 volts! The atomiser was hissing loudly, when I sucked, dripping more made it hiss louder, the good tasting atomiser at 6 volts went cold! So I went back to the safe world of 3.7 volts and all is good now, I miss my 510 and its power will be awesome on GG and I am guessing it will be even at 3.7 volts!! Earlier I was not satisfied at 3.7 volts with anything even my trusty RN4081 with disposable cartridge wasn't helping! I am satisfied now, I must have got used to the TW state express! It has not been my day for vaping hehe!

That is the way these problems have always been dealt with and it is fundamentally wrong. You may be bright and safety conscious, but there are a lot more potential customers out there that may not be as exceptional as you. So, to wave the issue off to using common sense and saying the issues are solved, is not a suitable replacement for risk management.

If you read through the days thread, you will see that every issue raised has been addressed.

It's pointless to continue the same thing over and over again......

We are all very tired now, of course safety is a big concern, and it will be dealt with, but Rome wasnt built in a day, and neither are problems resolved in one.

Although, saying that, all have been addressed and suitable action will be taken.
