I first found out about e-cigs from the clerk at the discount cigarette/convenience store I shop at. I was speaking with Him about how ridiculous the price of cigarettes are.
He sugested trying this electronic cigarette thing he had for sale.
It was 79.99 with one battery one atomizer and a PCC (J 118 ).
He explaned to me that the cartriges were only 3.00 for 5.
He did tell me that they said each cartrige was a pack of cigs but it was more like two. I was on the fence about it for a couple of weeks but finally bit the bullet and bought one. It was alright but when the battery was charging I would still smoke analogs while waiting for it to charge.
This didn't sit well with me brcause most of my smoking was when I was home and that was when the charging was being done the most.
They didn't sell anything but the kits and cartriges.
Well what does the average technofile do when looking for something not available locally? Ta-da Googled J118 electronic Cigarette. Low and behold got a bunch of links to chinese distributors selling to dealers but one video review on e-cigarette forum .com. Couldn't find many parts so I read some of the reviews and found there were a lot more e-cigs than what I ever imaginened. also found that mine was hardly ever mentioned.
Well the Joye 510 manual battery model seemed to be a big hit with everyone.I was interested in the big battery mods but the prices were kind of out of my budget. Anyway I ordered a 510 kit with two batteries two atomizers and charger a PCC and an extra pack of cartriges from Health Cabin with 30 mg of marlboro juice. While waiting ordered some coffee juice from esmoker online. My wife didnt like the taste of the cartriges that came with the j118. Waited like a kid on his b-day for the postman to deliver my package from China. Took my wife and mother in law to an appointment a couple of days before I thought it would get there and when we returned there was an I was here and you weren't card on the door from the post office. I waited around untill the pick up time on the notice and got my package from the post office.
At first i was kind of leary because it was in a grey plasic shipping bag but then I had the pleasure of cutting the multiple layers of shrink wrap off.
When they pack an order they don't play around it took me 5 min with a pocket knife. Any way I tooka few hits off of it right out of the box and was impressed. I then charged up both batteries and have been happily vaping away ever since. The thing is the first day I didn't have my timing right and had to charge both batteries at the same time and smoked a couple of analogs while waiting.After that I figured out that I could drop my battery in the PCC and top it off while not using it and havent smoked an analog since that was 5 days ago. The good thing is mywife has been taking a few hits off of my 510 every once in a while and today while in the car she asked me what flavor it was she had just tasted it was 1/3 coffee and 2/3 marlboro american blend. I asked her how it was and she said not too bad.Then she asked if they came in Pink?
I ordered her a pink starter kit when I got home along with 10 blank cartriges and Chocolate and cherry juices as a surprise. Maybe if she smokes it off and on she will also see what a better thing an e- cig is.If not I have no problem using a pink e-cig. I've also ordered some RY4 and a Passthrough.Sorry for riting a book but I'm stoked that I don't even think about analogs and that my wife even asked if they came in a color she likes.
