A passthrough? does that mean I can like plug the cig into the wall or car and just keep on going? batteries just for breaks at work and when I'm out and about?

I'll probably get into trying more flavors after I've gotten comfortable.

BTW everyone this is all personal now between me and my fiancee. She's dead set against trying them and says theres no way they work or are any good at all. After I've read around, I WANT TO PROVE HER WRONG!!

The stuff with a ? is stuff I'm not sure if the kit comes with, I'm not sure what it means by 1x charger and cable, if that's for the wall or what? Is there other stuff I should get on top of that? Like empty cartriges to put the liquid in or can I re-use the ones the kit comes with?

crossed those out because they are included with the kit.
That is a good package and shawn is a good guy to deal with.
If you are normally near somewhere where you can charge the batteries I would suggest holding off on the pcc until you decide if you like that model or not. That way if the 510 doesn't work for you (it does for some and doesn't for others) you don't have extra invested in it. But if it does work for you you can buy one in a later order.

This link is probably the most comprehensive and complete package to guide you through the maze called e-cigs! Don does a good job of introducing you to just about everything that you could ever want to know. It's a bit long winded, however, but if you'll take the time to go through it, you won't regret it.
Good luck to you in proving your girlfriend wrong. My wife felt the same way, but after seeing me quit, she now vapes also! Funny how these things turn themselves around!

Yes, that is a good starter kit at a decent price.

Some tips on the 510. Although it is BY FAR my favorite in vapor production, the batts don't last nearly as long as other models. These are much better, as is THIS charger.

No juice is similar to a real smoke, because you aren't burning anything. But Marlboro DOES have a tobacco flavor.

Even better than a PCC is a PASSTHROUGH that allows you to vape directly from a computer USB port or your car using THIS adapter.

Be sure and order more juice that you think you will need. It goes fast when you are craving an analog!

You can very easily refill the 510. Most of us do.

Oh, and you WILL prove her wrong. I was a heavy smoker 40 + years. But.....to keep peace in the family, tell her that you can easily resell anything you buy right here on ECF....

I've been on a pv for over 230 days, never had any craving for a cig. Yesterday, my atty plugged up while I was driving, so I went HOURS with no vaping...no problem. I really feel like my days using a pv are coming to an end, sooner than later. smoking while driving was a big obstacle, well after yesterday, I think I can handle it. My next step is to stop using my passthru at home......I strongly endorse pv's if that helps you, there is a learning curve involved though...you gotta WANT IT if it's gonna happen, you gotta make it happen or you'll be disappointed......I'll never smoke again, I tried to smoke again and it tasted like trash! THANK YOU PV! I gave my brother-in-law a 510, I have very little hope that he made it work for him. You gotta want it to happen. You gotta try to make it work...you gotta ask questions here if you get stuck.....amen.

Edit: oh yeah, forgot one thing, dumping tobacco flavored juice was a milestone, I now use cherry juice I make myself!

Yeah the 510 is a great choice however, I would just get the kit or a disposable one mentioned earlier to see if you can enjoy then purchase extras, this way you dont throw a bunch of money at it and come to find you dont like it. I do believe though that since your wife made this personal you will come to like vaping real quick lol... GL!!!
