How is temp control different from vaping at lower wattage?

Ive seen three ppl fry there premade atomizers because they didn't kno anything about tc mode. And they quit vapeing after they did because it scared the .... out of them when the wire mesh hit there tongue and burnt the .... out of them. Like I said just don't use it inless you kno how.
I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "the wire mesh hitting their tongue"? I don't have any tc atty that uses mesh, or any where the wire could get out of the atty to hit the tongue. What atty and how did it happen? Happened to several different people as well?

They was using a sub tank and the sub tank atomizers have wire mesh at the top of the coil like some of the aspire atomizers.
I still don't get how that could happen. What exactly did your friends do? In any case, tc doesn't much more knowledge than vw. Choose the right tc mode for your wire, lock your resistance with the atty at room temperature. Not much more you need to know really. Follow those simple steps and tc is safer than vw. Easier to pop a coil with vw by setting the watts too high, particularly by firing a dry coil (by accident or ignorance).

They didn't know wat ti ss ni stood for and the used normal coils in tc mode.thinking it was ok.

Makes sense. Vaping is just not as easy to do as smoking when all you have to do is take out a smoke, lite a match/lighter, and away you go. With vaping there is more to do, depending, but alot of people that are trying to quit think that it is as easy as when they smoked. They do need instructions on what to do, and the manufacturers are bad about NOT putting good (or in some cases, any) instructions in with some of the products they sell, and TC is more complicated than VV or VW for most everyone when they first get in to it, hence all the TC threads and questions.

Still, the problem was with the wattage being set ridiculously high. Non-tc coils in tc mode is simply vw vaping. You'll have the same exact problem if you set the watts too high in vw mode. Still fail to see how tc requires that much more wits than vw.
