How is XL different?

I'm considering getting a KR-808d-1 XL battery or two because of their longer between-recharge life.
But when looking for new cartos, I see separate listings for the standard and XL types.

So my questions:
1) Can I use the standard cartos on them? (I don't want to have to keep track of which cartos are for which batteries.)

2) Can I use the same charger for them? (I have both 500mA and 1000mA AC adapters -- would one be better than the other for these?)

Any help greatly appreciated!

Yes to both questions, but you REALLY want to use Boge cartos, they wipe the floor with the standard ones performance wise, and you can use any KR8 charger.

The XL 808's are the king of the cig-sized PV batteries, you can't get better for the size, heck, 2 of those things even outlasts a regular eGo battery.

Thanks!

The XL cartos have different Ohm ratings, so I was worried the batteries were different in some way other than just their maH.

The lower the ohm rating the quicker the battery will run down, just don't go using any LR cartos on them or it will damage them.

There are a lot of different cartos out there now. I use the XL E2R4 but they are still a work in progress and I don't recommend them for beginners yet. You will need to experiment a bit to figure out which carto and Ohm rating you like. So order small amounts of different ones so you if you are disappointed with one you will have a others to try. I go down as far as 2.4 ohms on a XL KR808D-1. I think the highest with an 808 thread is 3.4. Remember the lower the ohms the hotter and more intense the vape and your time between charges will also go down. You may also get some bad ones no matter what kind you order.
