I've been using Boge LR cartos(2 ohms) for last two days and Boge cartos( 3 ohms) since last week. I normally put 30 drops in the carto. With Boge 3 ohms cartos I used to get 4 good vaping sessions before feeling burnt taste and refill. When I do a refill I do see some liquid drops popping out at the battery end where I'll stop. This will be usually after 30 drops. I am filling cartos overnight as advised by some veterans.
How long a 30 drop carto last for you? With LR Boge carto a 30 drop liquid now lasts only 2 vaping sessions. is it normal? Is there any chance that liquid evaporates? Do I need to clean cartos? I thought the cartos will last for a while before needing refill. I am using Riva. Since Riva has got more battery power, does this mean the liquid is consumed fast?

I have been using cartos for awhile now and have no clue how long they can go on a single fill. I do the initial using the condom method and then slap a drip tip on them. I normally drip on them every 5 minutes or so to keep them topped off. Before I started doing this a carto would last me 15 minutes max before needing a refill.

Your findings on the lr cartos are normal btw. They produce more vapor but use more juice and power to make it.

2 cartos usually last me the day but that might be because I don't vape like I smoked. I take 2-3 hits and put it down, 2-3 again put it down. I don't stay on it for 10 minutes like I did with analogs. I typically take both batteries with full cartomizers and alternate between what ever flavors I have in them.
When I'm at home I generally drip instead of using carts, again, so I can change up and have variety. I'm new to this so I want to vape all of them they ae so good, lol.

I've been using the Boge 3.0 for a few weeks now exclusively with a 5V USB passthru KR-808D-1. After burning a few from not waiting long enough for them to wick properly, I've pulled them apart. They have a deeper well below the atomizer than the standard carts so it taught me why they take so much longer to wick.

I vape pretty much all the time while on the computer and top them up with ~10 drops about every 20-30 minutes. It does depend on the juice too and how long I have to wait for them to fire up. I take no chance on burning them. If it tastes the slightest bit dry I top up.

If I am out and about, I don't vape nearly as much, but always take at least two carts so I can switch them out if I suspect they are going dry. I can vape them much longer with a 3.7-4.2 battery to where they'd take ~20 drops.

How long it lasts depends on how you vape and how much of a draw you take. It can vary.
I find that the second day, it appears my cartos take and hold more juice than the first.
They seem to absorb better.

I top mine off thru out the day. I add 6-7 drops just depending.
Always remember your carto can recover from too much juice (just blow out)
It cannot recover from too little juice (burnt taste)

You will find a happy medium, it will just take a little time and practice.
You probably won't need to worry about any cleaning till after a week or so of use,
unless you use chocolate or a dark juice. These tend to clog up the carto
some and I just take a syring with some PGA (pure grain alcohol like Everclear) and
flush out the carto and then blow out that with my mouth.
I don't let them dry after this, they are ready to use right away.
After a couple of wash out's with the Everclear and the draw
on the carto gets tight, I just trash them.

Some people clean with water and they state they let them dry for a few days before
they use them. I don't use this method, takes too long for me, but apparently works for some.

There are several videos on YouTube about cleaning. Try there for some additional help.

Good luck and happy vaping!

I am happy with Boge LR cartos. Been usign 3 cartos with different flavors daily. After 9 days, all the three gone bad and tasting nasty. Is it normal? What's the normal life of a Boge LR carto before throwing it away (no of days)? I usually vape every hour rotating between the cartos. I've also observed that the subsequent refills take less drops before liquid coming out at the battery end. I sometimes feel using some liquids which weren't ready (before steeping to get real flavor) makes the carto to give burnt taste. Is it right? If I am using 1 carto for every 3 days then I would be using 10 cartos for a month.

I'm startin to wonder if I'm doin something wrong with my carto's. They seem to be lasting way too long , this is my first time using BOGE carto's. My old carto's I was topping off every hour , these BOGE's are lasting day's , the weird thing is though that they look dry , but I'm still getting good vapor and flavor , no burnt taste at all. And when I try to topp off it just drips out the ends , I'm thinkin it might have somethin to do with my juice tho , I'm using a cheap Dekang flue cured.

Not to sidetrack the conversation here- feel free to PM me if you don't want to hijack this thread... But can you tell me more the wicking process? I've only been vaping for a little over a week. I also have some LR Boge Cartos, and I think my wife might have burned one out yesterday (horrible burnt taste after she used it just a couple times). So how do you do it properly.

I drip into the top and also through the hole in the battery end. The higher the PG content of your juice, the longer they will last. As someone said before, dark and/or thick juices lead to clogging and tight draw.

Dripping through the hole in the battery end of the carto sounds weird, but it works well. There's a gold colored tube that starts at the battery end with a white silicone grommet on the end. That tube extends up about 1/3" into the filler. When you drip drops into the battery hole on the end, they wick right down the tube and run out into the filler. Wipe the end, blow gently into a towel through the large end where the cap goes, and vape. You can also drip a few drops into the cap end and let them run down the side of the barrel to balance the fill.

Burnt taste usually means a dry filler. The heater coil contacts the filler, so you can scorch the filler when it's dry. If you are lucky, filling it again will restore taste. If not, toss it and open another. As with most atomizer designs, this one isn't perfect either. The power comes from the battery end, of course, and the heater coil runs up the center hole in the carto filler.

Wicking is simple. Juice is maintained in the filler and the heating coil contacts the filler in the center hole that you see as you look down into the large end. If any part of the filler is dry you will get dry filler contacting heater wire. Frequent topping off with juice is critical to minimizing filler scorch.

Good vaping is dependent on being able to draw air easily from the battery end through the slots you see in the center (where the white ring surrounds the tube). Air is drawn through the tube and the hole in the filler. Sometimes, the filler gets tight with expansion and blocks off the air flow, creating a tight draw. You can insert a straightened out paper clip into the battery end or the mouthpiece end and gently wiggle it until it comes out the other end. Once it emerges, bias it to the side and rotate the tube around and around. The objective is to compress the filler and widen the hole in the filler so that you can draw easily again. I have done this on many Boge cartos and have yet to damage the heater coil. Eventually, you still won't be able to get like new draw. Then, it's time to chuck it and open a new one.
