So I'm still enjoying my blu, but when a friend of a friend found out I switched to PVs and so far prefer cigalikes, he offered to sell me his old V2 kit. The thing is, it's about two years old. He said he only used it about 5 times, so I'm left to assume that the batteries have been sitting for over a year without having been used and/or charged. So assuming they were dead or nearly dead when he stopped using them, is long term storage for LiPoly batteries safe if they're not charged? OR if they were fully charged, wouldn't they have drained themselves dry by now anyway? He's got a couple nice extras like a USB power-cig that I could use at my desk all the time, so I'd like to buy the stuff if I can get a good deal, but without knowing if the bats are even any good, I don't know what to offer him.

The Batteries should be fine after they are Charged back up.

I don't know what I would offer him for his stuff. You can buy what he has New Pretty Cheap.

To buy what he's got now, or at least the equivalent stuff since he's got the older PCC and power cig, would be about $125+ shipping. He also has some prefilled cartos, didnt remember how many, but said there are at least a dozen. Granted, two year old cartos could be dried up, but then I should be able to refill them pretty easily. I'm thinking I'll offer him $50 and see what he says from there. thanks for the advice!

You had better check Fasttech pricing before you commit to a 2 year old China mod and two year old batteries for 50 bucks. Many folks like them, but they have a sketchy track record. Some have had them a while and have been great while others had them a week and have encountered problems. I have one and hadnt had a problem with it but only used it a few times myself before moving on to something build a bit better.

Just do your home work and I would not even count the batteries in a monetary way. Just my two cents....Trying to look out for you.

It's all what a Person Wants.

If I was going to Spend 50 or 60 bucks right now I would Buy 2 Vision VV Spinners and a USB Charger. Or if you don't mind something a Little Bigger, I would buy a Vamo Kit.

But that is Just me. I like VV PV's.

BTW - If you do decide to buy his stuff, I would toss the Pre-Filled Cartos. 2 Years is kinda a Long Time if they weren't kept in a Temperature Controlled environment.

...BTW - Isn't a V2 a KR808?

You kind have Limited Choices of Attys/Cartos/Clearos when you are in the 808 Universe.
Yep, it's KR-808D-1; plenty of supplies available for them.

Halo, Smokeless Image, heck even V2 sells blanks, and small clearos.

I added a drip tip to my blank cartos; works great!

I would think Long and Hard before I would recommend a KR808 to Anyone. Seeing that there are So Many other Options out there in the 510 Realm.
