Funny - everyone gets something a bit different out of Haze. When it's first born, I get a much heavier tobacco feel - it gets much better as it ages. I have a little bottle that I keep at work that I'm tasting now - it was born on 7/27/11. It's a really pretty dark pinkish-orange color. The tobacco is still present, but more of an undertone. I get cookie rather than cake batter as the flavor, and hazlenut rather than macadamia. Whatever it is, it's yummy!

Well, you guys made me do it. I placed an order to try the famous Haze. I got the sample pack, but also ordered a 10ml of the Honey Tobacco. I got bottle of it from the classifieds and loved it. This may be my last chance in a very long time to order anything. My employer is laying off 70 employees starting next week.

Scuba is good at creating complexity and controversy in the taste of her juice:)

She's a genius, I'm convinced!

bjanner, hope you find that the Haze lives up to your expectations! And if it doesn't, give it a week, and *Ta Da*: New Juice!

I also hope that you manage to avoid the axe. At last count, I have lived through 17 layoffs since 1998 - got cut myself in two of those. It's painful regardless of which side of the fence you end up on, so I'll send my best wishes that it works out well for you.

For the haze, it seems 7 to 8 days is the minimum steep time the juice needs from the date on the label. I have been experimenting with a fresh bottle this week and the transformation and difference in flavor is amazing!!!! I have heard about some juices changing with time, but it seems almost all of Scubas juice does this and for the better. Some of them like butterfly bait, seem to change daily for people!!! Long live Mom and Pop!!

OK - my first order has been booked and a small donation to the troops (wish I could have done more).

So many flavors, it was hard to narrow my choices on the sample pack. Excitedly looking forward to trying your juices!

rabernet Thanks so much for giving us a try and the Troops are going to have a big smile thank you for the donation and you let us know if you ever need something

Yea, I was curious about the volt.

I found that what worked for me was a pv that was small, convenient, easy to operate but still performed well. That's what I get with the Volt. At first I was nervous about the auto batts because you can kill them if you're not careful and get juice in them. In the five months I've been using Volts I haven't killed one yet, and none have died a natural death either. Now they've come out with the sealed autos. I'm still careful with them but not nervous anymore. lol They also have manual batts.

The battery and cartos work so well together. The carto has a horizontal coil and a smooth draw. This newer type KR808 is said to be a great improvement over the older ones. I never used the older versions so I can't speak to that, but I'm more than satisfied with the Volt. It produces good vapor and flavor. The batts are 3.7v and hold that voltage til right before they need to be recharged. A plus for me too is that SI has great customer service and ships fast, usually within 24 hours. My last order shipped the same day I placed it.

PVs are a matter of personal choice. Not everyone is satisfied with the smaller batteries but I like and prefer them. In my opinion Volt is the Cadillac of the small battery ecigs.

I had a bottle of Tobacco Haze with a born date of 8/28/11 that I tried on my first order. Didn't like it all that much so I put it in my desperate drawer. After reading this thread I started thinking I must have missed something so I stuck some in a cart thinking if I still didn't like it I'd offer it to someone. Anyone want an empty Haze bottle? Don't know if it's steeping or my taste buds changed but dang! Almost wish I hadn't tried it. Life was simple when I vaped RYO all day and some RYO4 for desert. Now I've got about 5 loaded pv's on my desktop and stay confused about which one to hit next and our esteemed Brewmiesteress comming up with more choices almost daily. One I haven't tried yet is the 5 layer. Seems like I get samples with every order but nobody put that one in yet. I know the BB is killa and the 5 layer is supposed to be equally as good.
