Li-ion batteries have a shelf life. So I would try not to order the batteries unless you need them. You can preserve the shelf life if you store in a cool dry place but that is no guarantee.

Use the USB pass as much as possible (waiting on mine right now), and order batteries when needed.

trying to stock up for 2 years, how long do batteries usually last?
Do you think with 6 batteries and 2 usb passthrough I will have enough for 2 years or do i need more?

No matter how you try to store them--at 24 months they are not going to preform very well for very long--build a Mod for the long run--very easy to due--for best storage see www.batteryuniversity.com ---Sun

the only reason im stocking up and ordering all at once is because im worried the fda is gonna crack down and stop all shipments to the usa and eventually stop all usa sales until and if ecigs are approved

I know we have the FDA debate. However I think they will have a hard time trying to stop imports of batteries and accessories. Look at the vaporizer market right now. I think they will go after the juice and filled carts instead.
