How long does a coil last?

When you build a new coil onto the atomizer about how long does it last? Im wondering because i live a fairly active lifestyle between school, work, gym, and family. I really want to try out the mech mods to see how much better the performance is but i was just wondering what to expect as far as how often you actually build coils and about how long they last if your a heavy vapor. I pretty much just have half of saturday and all of sundays for hobbys. Ill still keep my regulated devices for ease of use.


sidenote: Im most likely gonna try it anyways but figured i would ask some of the pros about this.

A day to a month. There are so many factors involved. Juice, wire temp, wire thickness, wicking, etc. I get the longest coil life with ribbon kanthal with a clean vaporizing flavored juice.

If you use cotton you can keep the coil intact and just rewick & dry-burn the coil every few days. Takes 1-2 minutes tops.

I have the same coils in my iGO-L running for the last 2 months, just rewick when needed.
