How long does it take for a post to show up in "What's New"?

How long does it take for the What's New list to reflect new posts?

I posted a new thread in Assorted PV Topics, in the Clearomizer sub-forum at 8:22 PM.

As of 9;36 PM, it does not show up in My Posts in the What's New Dropdown menu, or in Today's Posts.

It is visible in the forum I posted it in, and if I click my profile, it is also there.

Interesting....this post showed up in Today's Posts almost instantly.

Not visible yet in My Posts.

My earlier post in Assorted PV does not show up in either What's New lists.

It's pretty much immediately. I see it on page 6 under New Posts and under Today's Posts. Should be under My Posts too.

It's in order by time posted, relative to other posts. This is a huge forum, there are lots of posts happening at all times, so it's likely to move down quickly.
