I smoke 10 analogs a day. 10 analogs x 5 minutes per smoke = 50 minutes a day.

Will I vape more frequently than smoking? Will it take longer for me to sustain/fulfill my craving vs analog? I need to know how much time I will be spending doing this. (Aside mixing juice, reading ECF, Ordering Cool Stuff, Cleaning attys.

How Much Puff / vape Time a day. How Much Vape Time Per session before my craving feels satisfied. I smoked American Spirit Mediums, so no other chemicals I am addicted to other than pure nicotine.

I am curious if my transition to e-cigarettes will be smoother if I vape before i anticipate I will want to smoke.

I'm not sure anyone can really give you an exact amount of time. It really is a personal thing. It's like asking how long does it take someone to eat or how much time someone will spend in the bathroom and basing your time spent doing those things according to others. Everyone does things differently and vaping is no exception.

My husband and I both smoked 1 to 1.5 packs of menthol light 100s a day. With vaping, he only needs a couple of pulls at a time and he's good for a couple of hours before needing another hit because he uses a higher mg than I do. Whereas I find I chain vape. So even though are smoking habits were very similar, our vaping habits are completely different.

It's really hard to say if you'll have a hard time working your way up to a higher strength or not. Like I said, everyone's different. There are times when I use the highest strength (36 mg) and I can handle it just fine but I cut mine with some PG that way it lasts longer because I like to chain vape.

It's a matter of trial and error until you find what works for you. The good thing is, it doesn't take long at all to find what's right for you, may a couple of days, give or take.

I think it is a mistake to try to equate cigarettes to vaping in any way.

We are not 100% sure of the absorption rate/amount, and even if we were, it may vary from atomizer to atomizer, juice to juice, and battery to battery.. People often have radically different vaping needs from what their smoking need were. You may vape differently now than you do in a month.

It really is like trying to compare apples and radiators. E-cigs may sate a lot of our "smoking" needs and habits, but they are really a completely different animal.

Just vape however much, and however often, feels right to you.

sometimes i just take a hit to take the edge of needing nicotine off, and other times its like a pacifier, ill hit it for an hour straight. either way i only go through 1.5 ml per day @24mg. so lets see.... two drops=6 hits at 7 seconds per hit.... there are about 55 drops for 1.5 ml.... 42 seconds for 2 drops x 27.5 = 1155 second = 19min 25 sec per day.. of course that is round about. its not the same as a cig though, with a cig, it takes you 5 min to burn a whole cig, with an e-cig you dont have to smoke till its out, you just hit it till you dont want to hit any more. if you want to anilize it the way you anilize cigs, then i vape 24 hours a day. happy vapeing

I guess it will be whatever your habit requires. I vape tons more sitting around watching tv and such. If I'm out and active then it is not as much. I leave the pv in the car when I make business calls and pick it up when I get back. Did the same things with analogs. I will say this....I have gone as much as 4 hours without a vape and it didn't hurt near as bad as being without a cigarette for that length of time. I like to vape...I like to power vape...but I'm not wanting to jab my eyeballs out with a fork if I can't. Your routine will be just that..your routine.
