You will get an e-mail in the morning for the confermation, not sure about the phone call.

If you placed the order by mid afternoon Chicago time it most definitely would be shipped the following day. You will get a shipping notification in your E-Mail when it ships but you may not get that until in the evening the day following the order. Delivery is typically 2-4 days in the continental US by express USPS with a tracking number.
