How long does the desire for tobacco last?

I am sure most new vapers want to start with tobacco flavor because that is what they know. After reading numerous threads and watching countless videos I have gleaned that most people move away from tobacco or start adding additional flavors to a tobacco flavor.

I am curious as to how long most people hang on to wanting that tobacco flavor before moving into other pure flavors and how many actually stick with tobacco flavors.

When I first started vaping, I stayed away from tobacco flavors. I was afraid it would trigger a craving. I only vaped fruit or desert flavors. In the last couple of months, I use alot of tobacco flavors from freedomsmokeusa and vaperite. I found that it doesn't trigger the desire to smoke and I really enjoy the flavors.

It's only been a week for me, but I think that the tobacco flavored ones taste better than analogs and I get the nicotine craving taken care of. The last analog I tried tasted like crap. I put it out after three drags and reached for my e-cig.

Oh definitely! I only smoked menthol cigs, but I think some of the regular non-menthol tobacco juices are really good. I really like the BWB Virginia, Casablanca and 555. I'm about ready to order Tampa from Vapor Station for my mom. Heard great things about that juice.

I tried a couple sweet juice but can't really get into them just yet.

Swedishfish, I smoked menthol analogs for forty years. I didn't care for non-menthols too much. When I ordered my starter kit, I messed up. I got both Regular and Menthol flavored carts. The 'menthol' ones seemed weird at first and it took me about 3 days to really get used to them, but I like the regular flavored ones right off. I currently swap between the two during the coarse of the day. I especially like regular early in the morning with my coffee. After that the menthol ones seem like desert.

First 6 weeks I needed tobacco flavor and good TH. Then I started adding FreedomSmokeUSA vanillas, chocolate, cocoa and oRYental 4 (a light sweet caramel tobacco) and occasionally some fruit flavors like Peach to change up the flavor of the tobacco. I did that for about a month. I fell for the mixers and now they are what I mostly vape.

I still occasionally use BWB Casablanca - it was my first all-day vape and is a complex Turkish bkend w/ some cocoa, but now I add more cocoa to it (FSUSA Cocoa). And I do use WOWbacco all the time but it just tastes like very dark chocolate. I don't even smell tobacco in it - just strong dark chocolate. I've dropped my nic level twice (just dropped from 12mg to 6mg this weekend) and need a good strong chocolate.

I smoked menthols so I ordered some menthol flavored carts when I placed my first order. I found that I didn't really like them. I did like the 'tobacco' flavors, but not because I thought they tasted like tobacco. They are just so nutty and smooth. I have liked almost every flavor I try except for menthol right off the bat.

I'm pretty new to vaping (about a month), and I know that many people say that they started with tobacco flavors but then moved on to the fruits and drinks and deserts, but I just can't imagine myself doing that! I might end up proving myself wrong, but if I had to place a bet, I'd bet all tobacco, all the way (well... I might try a scotch if I can find one!); but I typically don't like sweet things or fruity flavored drinks or foods anyway. I recently ordered some liquid from BMV, and they sent a free sample of lemonade juice with it - not my scene. Very nice of them to give me a freebie, but I just couldn't dig it. I smoked tobacco for 17 years, and always loved the taste, but even more I loved the smell of a freshly opened pack of smokes... Which is now a flavor that I can get with vaping! Vaping is so much better than smoking!!

Thanks a lot for your input guys.

I have always loved the smell of a freshly opened pack of smokes and I like the flavor of smoking tobacco. I figured I would vape tobacco too maybe adding some other flavors to it but mainly I want tobacco... at least for now. My PV should be here by the end of the week and I can't wait to stop or at least slow my copious intake of carbon monoxide and various other chemicals that have been making me so miserable for the past 24 years.
