I just started vaping a little over 6 weeks ago and I love it. I have now made it longer off cigarettes than I have in over 50 years. I started on an analog look alike and then I discovered ECF! Well after spending hours reading on the forum, I ordered an Echo (two actually), which I love. Now I've been experimenting with all the different juices, and today I decided I just HAD to have a Riva so I could drip and try the juices before filling that big cart that the Echo has! Please reassure me that this too shall pass!! I'm not going to reach that "break even" mark any time soon, but I feel better, breath better, and can smell again so I know that it's a good thing.

well I spent, like crazy, for about 4 months, bought all kinds of juice and 4 different models, looking for that right combination, since I found it I have settled down and only buy the models, I like, and the cartoimizers, I like, I try to wait on their sales, and I still buy juice from all different venders, but not as often. So after a while, it will become cost effective, but at first it sure is fun trying all the different models out there.

in short , it depends on you.

I broke even after 2 weeks.

I now make my own juice aswell and the saving after 118 days as per my sig is over £500 and that is after I deduct, all the price of the kit, the ready made juice I previously bought, accessories i.e. spare battery, carto's, DIY juice supplies

So it really depends on you..

That's about right, several months trying different systems and more bottles of juice than you'll ever vape, and then you can narrow down your purchases to what you enjoy most. Until the next new carto of the month comes along. And then it's next version and so on. The juice is easier to figure out than the hardware though, at least for me.

Yeah that is a problem. Especially if you are a shopaholic like me.

I found if I keep a list of juices I want to try in a text file rather than immediately buying them, it slows me down. A bit.

You can also cut the cost by signing up at sites where you want to buy and watching for sales. Not all have sales. Vapor4Life has good frequent sales (KR808D-1 stuff but I use a couple of their juices and like to buy them on sale). Gourmet Vapor has infrequent but usually excellent sales. FreedomSmokeUSA might only announce their sales in their forum on ECF - not sure. Velvet Vapors occasionally has a sale (usually a small one). Etc.
