Hi
I vaped for awhile and everything was fine.. then I developed a serious dry mouth.. so dry all the time and even causing me to grind my teeth .. I will never be able to drink the amount of water required so just think it's best to quit. Here is my question: does anyone know how long it may take for my dry mouth to go back to normal after quitting vaping ?

Welcome and glad you joined. I second the recommendation to see a doctor about you inability to hydrate, this could be a serious problem.
I successfully quit smoking to improve my overall health, and I'm glad I did. Sorry to hear your problems, I guess we're all different. Don't you just love the freedom for each citizen to make his or her own decisions?

I can't help you with how long but I can help you with dry mouth. Xylitol, I use a product called theramints but many gums and mints use xylitol as a sweetener. It helps generates saliva production and is very good at it. I get dry mouth from medications but no matter the cause xylitol is the solution.

Just f.y.i. Xylitol is toxic for dogs. I note you have a dog.

Same thing happened to me when I started vaping in 2010. I used Biotene mouthwash and gum for about 3 weeks. Worked great!
