It all depends on my device combinations.

Straight MTL tank at low watts, I double puff about 6 to 8 seconds each.
Sub-ohm D2L tank at medium watts, a single 6 to 8 seconds pull.
Sub-ohm D2L RDA at high watts, a single 4 second pull.
That makes sense. I have a Melo 3 mini tank and I've got it set to about 26 watts right now. I always D2L and I pull on average about 6 to 8 seconds as well. I just like filling my lungs as much as I can for big clouds and big flavor.

That could be a very dangerous title for a thread. But as long as we're sticking to vaping, I don't think I've ever taken more than a 4 second draw. I don't think it's something you can "overdo" so long as your vape is still cool enough to not burn your mouth and you don't get lightheaded from it.

hahah Yeah I realized it after I had already posted it. Okay, my pico tells me how many seconds I'm holding down the fire button and the other day it said 10 seconds and I was just wondering if it was too long. I don't know.

10 seconds is usually when a protection would kick in and turn it off on the assumption that it's very unlikely anyone would take that long a drag so it must be a pocket fire or something. Even a really low wattage would start to get pretty toasty at 10 seconds.

Maybe that's not an accurate number from your Pico, although it should be reliable. Maybe check against a stopwatch or a watch with a second hand?

10 seconds seems a bit long to be drawing. I build all my subohm rdas at.3 ohms and adjust airflow to where I do a healthy 5 second pull every time. It seems my atties never get too hot, and as long as I don't forget to squonk, never have a dry hit.

I take 2 or 3 second pulls, depending on if I'm going to inhale or not. Easy 8 seconds to pull a cloud and not inhale it. It all depends on the gear you have. I remember almost sucking your eyeballs in, right up to the cutoff with the CE4 clearos to get a good vape. The clearo's vape was a fraction of what can be done now with the right build and power combo. I under power my builds, rarely go over 40 watts cause I have tried vaping ultra low coils using high power and always ended in a coughing fit from the heat, don't know how some can do it.

I usually take a 2-3 second pull with the occasional long pull of 6-9 seconds. I vape an eliquid of my own making that is around 25 mg's of nicotine. So along with the .5 subohm atomizer the high nicotine content reduces the need for very long pulls to get me the nicotine I need and love.

Okay, random question but how long do you guy's generally pull on your vape?? Sometimes I feel like I'm holding down the fire button for too long like maybe I should try not to pull so long on it?? I don't know. Maybe it's just me. What are your opinions on this??

I pull on mine for 2 seconds at the longest. I'm using unregulated and mechs but if I pull out my regulated mod, like I said I'll pull on it 2 seconds at the longest but it's usually around 1 1/2 seconds but I'm also vaping at upwards of 200W.

When I first started vaping, eGo batts with the eGo-C system, I used to hit the 10 second limit all the time. Got to the point I quickly released and re-hit the button before 10 seconds so I could pass it without a noticeable interuption.

When I vaped at 40'ish watts, I did 4-5 second drags. These days at around 20 watts it's more like 6-7 seconds. Always DTL.
