I have original Phoenix BC's that I've been using since September. Of the original ten I bought I just retired the last two even though they still work. I rotated them a lot, rather than use one until it dies, and cleaned them after two fills. IMO, the less dry burning you have to do to clean the coil the better. Frequent light cleaning is better than having to burn off thick crud.
Initially, I had some issues with the Reborns when they first came out. Those issues were covered in
this thread. I'm happy to say that my latest pack has only one plagued by light hits, and none have burned out prematurely. Hopefully QA issues after the change have been addressed.
In any case, the reborns that have been problem free have been holding up well. The oldest ones have lasted about 5 weeks so far.
