How long till your sore throat cleared up ?

I know this has been done to death, but my sore throat is annoying me.

Drinking fluids doesn't make any difference.

I have read the forums and the suggestion is it's the giving up cigs that is the problem, but my throat is not getting any better after 3 and a half weeks without a cig, if anything it's worse.

I wondered how long it took everyone else to get over it ?

I had pretty much decided it was the PG, when I tried a 80% PG juice yesterday I could hardly talk by the Evening. It did taste fantastic though.

If I reduce the PG below 50%, I suddenly start craving an Analogue again. Is there a way to stop that ? maybe if I increase the nicotine at the same time ? (I'm currently on 22mg).

BTW, what type of carto/ atomizer are you using? I recently got a nice rebuildable atomizer that uses silica. Ive use silica before but not as my main delivery, but now as Im using it all the time, I have come to the conclusion that I am allergic to silica. Been using cotton now, and it seems to be getting better. Its too bad because I like the silica better and allows me to to clean and dry burn it and reuse. Im disappointed because I have a lot of good silica and cant use it.

Also how long each day do you vape? When I first started I vaped constantly like a kid with a new toy! LOL but now I tapered it down. But from what I heard you could be allergic to PG. Alot of websites will mix e juice to your ratio preferences so just start cutting the pg down and see what happens.

I go out for a Vape about once an hour at work, not sure at home. I think as I can vape at my desk at home I just take a pull every 10 minutes ?

I have filled up my Vivi Nova with 30/70, but despite replacing the atomizer, trimming the wicks, fluffing the ends, and adding some water, I get a dry hit every 3rd vape.

In a few minutes it'll be launched out of the window, and I'll try the 30/70 juice in a stardust.

Cut back on the PG and try a diff flavor. You may have an allergy to the PG or the flavor. Also here are some things I use since I have really bad sinus issues. Drink warm fluids not cold or maybe hot. Hot lemonade with honey or room temp lemon water with a touch of honey if you like. Drinking things like cold soda will make it worse. Warm and lemon cut the phlegm it is an astringent. Warm or hot too. Even hot tea with lemon. It has kept me out of trouble a lot of times. First tickle in the throat and I would go into this mode until it got better. Use to get ear and throat infections a lot sometimes it would even settle in my chest.
Hope this helps it did for me.

shake it up baby.

I feel for you with the sinus's.

Mine are also poorly constructed - probably by an apprentice on a Friday Afternoon.

I've definitely got an allergy with some flavours. My second favourite flavour is Hazelnut, and it's 70% VG !. Unfortunately it makes me queasy for half hour after using it.

So my Fav e-liquid is 50/50 - gives me a sore throat.
My Seconds Fav at 30/70 - makes me want to vommit.
The third Fav liquid is 80/20 and give me a killer sore throat.

I have 17 other flavours which I don't like.

My favourite can be mixed to any strength / PG / VG though only in tiny 10mg bottles, so more orders going to be

30/70 22mg
VG100 22mg
30/70 32mg
VG100 32mg

Every base covered I hope.

Mine experience.. it started about month into the vaping... I switched to pure VG... but throath was still soar.. and then Istarted to drinkwater.. not cofee, not tee, not some juice, WATER. and after few days it was ok. I also used mouthwash for couple of days, and now I haveproblems only when I vape dirty coils or heavy tobacco flavours
