Blow the primer out of it (primer is an unflavored juice applied at the factory), wipe it off, add your favorite juice, then vape.

That's all there is to it.

Your new one is probably flooded with primer. Like I said, blow it out and wipe it off before you use it for the first time.

To blow it out, take a paper towel cover the small holes on the battery end, and blow with your mouth. To clean, soak in a little vodka and blow out a couple of times. Prime with a few drops of juice before using.

If you don't have spirits, you can also use hot water. Leave out overnight to dry.

I've cleaned it more than once.
First to get out the primer, second because I thought my nice thick Seattle Blend juice gummed it up.

Sitting with it right now, freshly cleaned. 3 drops of juice into it, barely anything out.

Can't imagine I killed already, right?

EDIT-
Think I got it figured out...took a bunch of rapid cigar puffs on it, just letting it out of my mouth without an inhale. Seems like it's doing loads better!

I've found that atty's take anywhere from 1/2 an hour to 1/2 a day to break in. I think a lot of it has to do with the primer fluid. I recently got a 901 and an adapter to use it on 510 threading. That atty didn't have any primer in it at all and worked great from the git-go. All the 510's I've used needed breaking in and were loaded with primer.

All I can say is give it a chance and vape through it.
