Have two 18650VCT's Sonys on an Intelliger i4. Have them in the 1 and the 3 slots.

Started with 1st yellow blinking light then went solid now 2nd blinking light....and holding.

It seems like it is taking forever. The charger purports to have auto shutoff and "knows" what type of battery it is charging.

They do not feel warm or hot to the touch...

So is this an hour long process on a first time charge? Longer---shorter?

Thank you-

Longer.

Most of the time, my batteries take 3 to 4 hours.

It all depends on how discharged they are, the charge rate and the batteries capacity.

Typically batteries are shipped half charged or a bit less.

Thank you anumber1---I appreciate your response---I have this great subohm build I want to drip...

I'll concur. Battery charging can be anything up to about six hours or so, as a general rule. Generally, new batteries are shipped at half charge or a little more, and the last half of the charge goes much slower than the first half (lithium batteries, like most others, prefer a slower charge the closer they get to full).

If they aren't warm, it's not a problem. However, never leave lithium batteries unattended during charge. They're more likely to fail when charging than at any other time, assuming you're not overdrawing them.
