I've been told they will on last about two weeks and then from other people I've heard that you just have to wash them. How long do they last or How often do they need to be cleaned? What would you wash them in? And just for reference i have a Blu E-Cigarette.
Thanks Very Much,

I only have my own experience and what has been reported by others to answer this one. I have several 510 models and a few Janty Sticks that use the 801 atomizers. And in the almost 6 months I've been
vaping I have lost one 510 atomizer and that was right after I did what is called a 'dry burn' where you hold down the manual button for a few seconds to 'burn off' what has accumulated on the coil. I figure I held it down too long. I have one other that is a poorer performer. I think it is because I pulled some of the wicking out from under the atomizer bridge. Both of these attys were working good prior to me doing what I did. So that my experience.
I have read reports of people burning up more than one atomizer in the first day, first week, first month and we had one person that I know of that had the same atomizer for 2 years.
Here's what one vendor suggests and also gives you an estimate on how long one lasts 30,000 mouthfuls/puffs

The only thing I'd add to that is that the 'regular alcohol' should be for human consumption. I use Galen's 151 proof pure grain vodka charcoal filtered. It is completely clear - no flavors, no colorings. Others use Everclear which is also a PGA (pure grain alcohol) and comes in 191 proof and 151 as well.
I soak the attys in the 151 for an hour or so every week or two - blow them out by mouth - first from the
threaded end, then from the cart end and then finally I put my finger over the center hole on the
threaded end and blow and suck to clear the intakes on the sides of the thread. I let it sit on a paper towel until dry and then, since I 'rotate' my attys, I put three drops of unflavored PG on the atty bridge and put them in a ziplock bag, bleeding out the air. While there may have been a case of someone losing an atty from using Everclear or Vodka, I've never read of one in the six months I've been on the forum. I have read of some losing them after boiling them in water, after dry burns, after using isopropyl alcohol (which can leave a film behind and it's something you'd want to ingest) and a few other methods. On the blowing out of the atty part - I'd not recommend a really strong air - like a compressor unless you can turn down the psi or using 'canned air' as that has a bitterant that could impart a flavor and also could be too forceful on the coil, wires or wicking.
I have also read many accounts of people never cleaning their attys. Some figure if they get two weeks from an atty then that's good. Others have gone of for months without a loss.
To be totally 'safe' only do what the manufacture or vendor says and if their is a warranty - use it. If it's from a China vendor -some of those have a 6 month warranty but you have to pay to send them in - if you do that you the airmail option which is the lowest and wait until of IF you have several to send in of course. Save all receipts as you will likely have to prove it was from them.
Basically the choice is up to you. The data that is out there isn't consistent enough for anyone to say with certainty - 'do this'. What you might want to do, is keep some you don't clean at all and keep some you clean with vodka or everclear every week or two and see what works best. Keep it simple.
