Yep the NotCigs forum has always been pretty chill. Alot more chill than the rest of ECF. Some places here scare me. I've never even ventured to the "outside".

With all the mod safety issues being addressed, you all might want to look at this. Popped up in the newbie section tonight. And ECF only worries about mods? Geez......

How did this forum become so powerful? It's a friggin' FORUM for cryin' out loud. Not a regulatory agency.
This is not the first exploding ego post I have seen, just since the uproar began. I feel much better with my new mod than I did with my "safe" egos.
Funny thing is is that ECF choose to leave all the Chinese mad MODS ( they are a modified normal Ecig IMO ) off of the LIST to FIX ???? I know that they Know that there is NO way to get the Chinese to change unless it hits them in the pocket so .
And that's the danger of a trade association, I don't think they can be trusted IMHO, the track record in almost every industry they have entered is poor both in quality and respect for others in the trade.....

the one trade Assoc. that I have dealt with for many years is the TIA ( Telecom Ind Assoc. ) they have been great actually they have helped guide the specifications as a technical org. no politics involved that I know of , I am sure there are some but no major .....ing about it.
But what about the resellers? If (making up a name here) isellecigs.com chooses to sell cheap chinese junk, they could tell that company they will not be on the approved vendor list, just like they did with you. Then it's up to that vendor to find a better product. No reason that the cheap Chinese junk should be allowed because they can't control them when the well built Amreican product makers have to jump through hoops.
It's all overeaction anyway, it is not ECF's place to police the industry.
Mike, last night (European time) I had the impulse to ask you if you couldn't keep the BuzzPro going (as is - the one with the 3 holes near the bottom cap!) as the European version?
In Europe people aren't half as hysterical about *issues* as in the States - and everybody (I know of) who has bought your BP so far is more than happy with it.
I'm not so sure how they would like a BP with such a loooong slit in it.
