Those of you who use blank cartomizers:
What's the minimum number you like to have on hand?
I currently have about 30.
I have a bunch of sample packs coming this week and think I may need more.
Also, where do I find Boge standard resistance cartomizers?
I only have Wow and Cool Carts I got from V4L.
What other cartomizers work with the kd808 (Vapor King)
I need more vapor.
Wow carts are ok once I get them going but they don't last long.

Drip tips - go to LiteCigUSA.net to find plastic and delrin ones that say 510/901/KR808D-1 - the rubber o-ring on those is thin enough to fit in KR8 cartos. I like to use plastic and delrin in the cartos. When actually driping on an atomizer I prefer metal. I do not drip into the drip tip on a carto since you don't want the juice to go down the center air channel. But a drip tip makes a nice mouthpiece (especially on a hot carto) and no tools needed to pull it out and add juice.

I tried a couple of those gorgeous 510/901 twisted drip tips from nHaler but the o-ring is too big to slip easily into the KR8 cartos - bummer. But I'll use those on my 510.

I vape 2 cartos at a time (one each on two ecigs, KR8 and 510) and I can get 2-4 weeks out of a Boge soft-cap for 510 vaping it 1/2 the time. The VaporLife ones for KR8 seem to be more normal lifespan - I can get 1-2 weeks out of one vaping it 1/2 the time.

I have about as many as you. When China has a long holiday the US shops can run out of some kinds of cartos. Ditto that time the FDA decided to block ecig stuff coming out of China for weeks.

Boge Soft Tips, 2.0 Ohms: 75 and more coming. Clearomizers 2.4 ohms: 10 left, and more of those coming, too.

I'm still building up my stockpile, so I'm always getting a lot more than I need. I think when I hit a grand total of 200, I'll be comfortable. At one carto per week, that will last me for almost 4 years. Then, I'll just buy them as I need them, firm in the knowledge that it doesn't matter what happens with exchange rates, global transport, the FD-F'ing-A, idiot politicians, or a potential complete collapse of the U.S. Dollar (which, at this point, is a given, btw)... I'm covered. Plenty of time to wean myself down to zero nicotine, should I choose to. I DIY my juice, and keep a full 2 years worth of nicotine in the freezer also, & rotate my stock.

Everything but the atomizing element and the nicotine I can make myself or purchase for some other purpose. Those two things are what I'm really concerned about stockpiling.

Cignot and litcigusa are both out of those driptips.

hiram13pm : I agree. I might build up my own stock pile in anticipation of an FDA crack down.

I'm less worried about the FDA than our losing reserve currency status for the dollar. It's already starting to happen; China and Russia inked a deal last November to trade oil in their own currencies, bypassing Bretton-Woods. Rumors of QE3 are starting to circulate. At some point, the bottom will fall out of the dollar, and all imports will go through the roof.

5 pack of cartos for $25? $40? How many dollars will it take when no one outside the US accepts dollars anymore?
