for those of you who fill your own cartomizers:

How many do you keep filled? Do you fill 50 or more at a time or just fill a few and use those few over and over again?

For those who do fill more than a few at a time, how many do you fill or keep filled and how often do you fill them?

I'm relatively new to all this but it seems to me to be more convenient to fill say 50 or more carts and go through those and then rinse if needed or just refill again when you run out. So, guess I'm looking for options to having to use just a few/handfull of carts and constantly having to fill them every day or other day....

My wife uses the same flavor pretty much all the time, so I'll usually refill a week's worth of cartos for her. I usually rotate a few flavors per day, so I typically will fill a couple days' worth for me in case I change my mind. I have a few hundred prefilled cartos sitting there in case I get lazy.

I have about 100 carts. I've been cleaning/refilling 20 of them on the weekend. That's enough to get me through the week. I'll do this until they start acting up,or die. Then I'll break out 20 fresh carts and repeat the process. Only downfall is I go through more juice cleaning prior to every refill, but the carts seem to perform better this way.

I keep a candy dish filled with my refilled and new cartos so I can just reach in and grab what I like then vape away. I vape two full cartos worth a day and usually at night while I watch tv or a movie on my computer I do my refilling, it's generally only the two I used during the day and it only takes me about a minute each to fill but now and then when I get busy I let the empties stack up and do more at once.

I have about 16 different carts I go through every week. So I sit down for a refill session over the weekend and fill up for the week. I am thinking of ways to streamline the process as it takes me about 1 1/2 hours to do this. But I custom mix each cartos mixture and write it down in a notebook. I am noticing some trends and at least I now know which mixtures I liked, instead of trying to remember. As I narrow down my winning mixtures, I plan on preparing larger quantities of those and just suck them up in my syringe and refill, instead of mixing 1ml at a time. Would be heaps faster if I could just stick with the mixes available.

i try to keep at least 2 or 3 refilled for the next day,
although i have nearly 30-40 new still (but i only use those if im in a rush, or an old one dies)...
and ive got a pile of near 20-30 empty, with only about 10 of them cleaned...

its to time consuming to fill more than 2 or 3 at a time for me....

and of the 2 or 3 if fill for the next day, i just top em off for another day or two to avoid the time of a total refill again.

I keep about 40 cartos in rotation and refill once a week. A normal refill session is 20 to 25 cartos and takes about 45 mins from start to clean up. My juices are from Steve or my own mixes that I keep in 10 or 15ml bottles..so I don't have to mix each time.
For me it's an assembly line job..pop the caps and rubber rings, put on the plugs and bottom condoms, line up the matching bottles with cartos..then fill. I cap them and put on the top condom as I fill. When I am done filling I put away the bottles and start the spinning, 4 to a sock, 2 socks at a time. I keep my new carts in a large glass candy dish and my refills in a smaller one. I throw my used, waiting to be refilled into a box.

I vape at least half a dozen different 510s with different flavours, which all stand right next to me, ready to grab. Each, obviously, with a filled cart. I refill those when they are empty.

Besides that, I have maybe half a dozen filled carts with tastes I am not currently vaping, but probably will again. And I believe two carts with mint which I filled at the very beginning of my vaping career, figuring I'd need them. Gotta empty those one of those days.

wow, thanks for all the input. I've finally decided that I really like the idea of having ALOT of filled carts on 'standby' just in case I dont want to fool with them every night or even once a week. I've filled I'd say around 60 carts and plan to fill more when my blanks arrive. I'd actually like to have at least 100 "in reserve" - just in case...

Thanks again to all who gave input!!!

I just counted: 26 cartos filled and ready to vape. I tend to refill nightly when I'm watching the news and/or reading the forum. I've noticed that I have a tendency to keep cartos that should be ditched; I have developed an emotional attachment to them. It's sad. Today I plan to toss the cartos that I've been using for over a month...some for longer.

Just make sure to save the little white end cap - that way your old discarded carto can help keep another one alive ;)
