I so far have not been keeping track of my nicotine intake, and I want to start.

If I knew how many drops are in a ml I could tell how much nicotine im using.

From the other posts Ive read, the rated nicotine level on the label is per ML.

So a 36mg Fierce coffee from puresmoker would supply 36mg per ml used.

I know when I smoked camel lights they had .8mg of nicotine per cigarette. This put my previous nicotine intake at 16mg per day

Id like to not exceed that amount, but im sure I have been with the e-cig.

People say 15 drops or 20 drops = 1ml

I will go with 20 drops = 1ml (20 drops = 10 cigs)
Most people use 2ml per day (40 drops = 20 cigs)

In order for you to stay at 16mg per day and provided you only use 2ml per day -
You would have to use e-liquid around 8mg or a little more than 1/3 of 1ml of 36mg per day.

I personally do not believe that. You could find LOTS of claims (proofs?) that the nicotine intake officially stated on packets is grossly understated (based on something like 1 short puff every 30 seconds or so - do you smoke like that? time your gaps between puffs) by the tobacco companies and you can normally get much, much more (three times? even more?) from a single analogue cig.

Determining nicotine and tar measurements in tobacco products is done by a very specific machine test, so variables cannot enter the equation. YOU, however, won't smoke like a machine, so your intake will not the same as the published amounts.

What is the big deal with this? If you underdose, you'll get jumpy. Increase your vaping. If you overdose, you'll get dizzy and throw up. Decrease your vaping. You are not likely to kill yourself by vaping and these aren't exactly calories we're consuming. Why are we counting?

The reason I decided to count was because I have not had a nic fit in days and I was wondering if it was because im LOADED! or if I was simply past that point and have lost the desire for nicotine.

I have no headaches or any other reported symptoms reported from over use of nicotine, and someone in another post said that if you increase your nicotine intake that your resistance will simply go up, requiring more nicotine.

So if I count my intake then I can determine if im still taking in the same as when I smoked or if im using more.

Alternatively, you can use 0 nic liquid (nice and flavoured if you have the money or just 80% VG and 20 % Pepe Lopez Tequila if you don´t) and see how much - how long - it takes you to start really craving the real stuff (meaning higher nic juice). That method takes into consideration all your bodily factors and might be of a higher value than just some public relations "health" figures on cig packs.

Your Camel Lights spewed .8mg of nicotine out of the filter.
Your juice contains 36mg per ml before it's heated.

That's not a fair comparison.

Also as I understand juice is alkaline, cigarettes are acid. That changes the absorption rates.
I don't think Camel is one of the ones that use ammonia but if I'm wrong that also changes the absorption rates.

I'll tell you from when I successfully changed cigarettes for a pipe (which lasted about 1 1/2 years) increasing my nicotine intake with some high nicotine tobaccos until I was almost ODing on every bowl was the only thing that got me over wanting a cigarette while I was smoking a bowl. Even when I went back to smoking about 30 .7mg's a day those heavy pipe tobaccos can push overdose if I puff too fast.
I think it's apples and oranges. Without testing your blood there's no real way to compare.

I haven't got my kit yet, but my plan was to get the high nicotine stuff and do exactly what worked with the pipe. Push the nicotine to keep me happy while getting over all the other stuff in cigs. I'll adjust my intake by how many puffs I inhale.
If the similar pacifier and convenience of the E-cig works faster than a pipe and I have some 36mg left I'll simply buy some 0mg to mix and wean down. But in my experience cutting nicotine isn't that hard or any withdrawal long lasting. My hardest thing is not wanting an analog every waking minute and every sleeping hour.

You not having a nic fit in days means you probably haven't desired analog. That tells me you're doing the right thing, at least if it was me. Your addiction and how to break it may vary.

Ummmm this might sound a little obvious, but if you used a syringe to fill your carts, you would have an easily readable amount dispensed , or simply use the syringe as a dropper if dripping the atomiser --- syringe say filled to 2 ml ... end of day 0.4 Ml left --- consumption of 1.6 ML... make sense no?
