How many "drops" of liquid do you use when dripping?

Quick question...wasn't sure if I should post here or in the atty/carto forum. Anyway...I've never dripped before, until I recently got one of those 306 attys with the attached drip tip. I needed an easier way to sample juices before filling cartos, and thought this thing would be perfect for that, which it is.

My question is, how may drops should I be dripping into it? I haven't been putting much at all, but its been quite messy & leaky. I'm trying to determine if its mee putting too much liquid, or if its the atty itself. Any insight is appreciated as always! :)

Depends on the liquid... if it's more of a PG based liquid I typically do 3-4 - and more of a vg liquid I do 2-3...
Better to under-drip than over-drip...
...and the amount of time between drips is also dictated somewhat by the viscosity or quality of the liquid.
For example... most of my BWB liquids will let me hit an lr atty 12-15 times before I drip again... while my dekang types give me 6-8 hits before I reload...

Important to blow your atties out on occasion... if you are a heavy vaper... then I'd blow it out a couple times a day...

...and one other thing to consider is that the drip tip itself can really enhance or flatten your experience dripping and vaping.
I like mings... they have a little bowl that hold a little more vapor and throat hit... and the opening at the top makes it easier to drip...
