Hi. I'm just curious as to how many fasttech addicts are on this forum? I know some people frown on fasttech, but frankly, they can't be beat in regards to low prices and decent customer service.

The two biggest complaints about them I hear are that they sell cheap, crappy products, and the shipping time is crazy long! Well, initially I agreed with those two opinions, but lately fasttech has really upped their game in regards to the quality of their products. The amount of copper mechanical mods available on their site now is becoming outstanding, as well as the quality of said devices.

And as far as the shipping times, I have discovered a shipping option called ePacket, which, for an extra $2.00, speeds up the time of shipping to around 9-12 days!
That, to me, is WELL worth the extra $2.00 cost. And I have heard that for some US customers, that option is even FREE!

So really, I can see why some people do not, and will probably never like this company, but for vapers who are on a budget, there is simply NO OTHER on-line shop as large and convenient, in regards to customer service, and the sheer amount of different products available in the ecig industry.

I, for one, have become a FastTech addict!

Cloud on!

Yeah, I'm a fasttech-aholic. Been a long while since shipping issues reared their ugly head (about a dozen orders) but China Post has apparently taken my most recent, KF/KF nano kit/Zmax mini/misc drip tips, order hostage. I'm sure it will all work out, but I really had hoped that the shipping fiascoes of the Xmas to China NY period were over. Sad but true I'm a FT-aholic (gee what step does this admission put me on, lol).

OBTW Welcome aboard

Sad when shopping on a budget leads a person to shopping at an addictive place. A few suggestions, which some other posters on this thread already know: Don't place another order until your previous order has arrived. Take your time building a wishlist, and only place orders once a month. Don't buy batteries at FT: One of my orders took 80 days to arrive-- it could have gone around the world in the 1800's.

I spend half of my day every day fixing peoples fasttech products. I've ordered roughly 100 items and seen tons more from fasttech. For products made by Smok, Kanger, Innokin and Aspire they are generally the same product you would get any where.

However, I tell people to totally avoid anything in the mechanical mod, RDA / RBA and batteries sections. I've seen so many problems I couldn't even imagine where to start.

Even when it's marked as authentic, don't believe them. It may well be, or it may be close enough that nobody can tell the difference, but it may well not be. If it isn't marked "authentic", then it isn't. Some of the clone stuff is good. Some is rubbish. If you read the reviews and discussions carefully you may be able to work out which is which.

Remember, as the importer, it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods comply with safety and trademark regulations. Fasttech is not obliged to tell you the truth or only sell stuff that complies with US law.

That said, they are a very good source of a lot of really cheap stuff, and a lot of it is well worth the price. Just don't fall into the trap of buying a $5 clone and expecting it to be identical to a $100 original.

It reminds me of the story of the army quartermaster who found himself on the phone to an absolute idiot. The quartermaster tore into the imbecile in the way only an army NCO can. When the other party managed to get a word in edgewise, he said "Do you know who I am?"
"No" said the quartermaster.
"I am General Sinister-Dexter," said the idiot.
"Oh yes," replied the quartermaster, "and do you know who I am?"
"No," said the idiot general.
"Thank God for that," said the quartermaster and put the phone down.

The companies that make these clones do not put their names anywhere on their products; they are entirely anonymous. They have no interest in generating loyalty from their customers. They are in it for the money, and only the money. The cheaper they can make the clone, the better for them. Even if their products are dangerous to life, the chances they will be prosecuted for it are vanishingly small.

Shipping times improving. Quality improving but still hit or miss. Do your research, read reviews of the item. If there are no reviews yet, try to avoid being a first adopter of any new and unproven item. The well reviewed items have a track record.

Actually, if you do your research, you can get plenty of good quality clones at a fraction of the price of an authentic. I'm quite happy with most of my gear from FT. Yes, there were some frustrating issues with the quality or performance of some items and whatever I was not happy with is currently being addressed by customer service. But I've had to return defective items to U.S. sellers on occasion as well. It happens.

For me, the bottom line is this..... It's hard for me to justify paying 100% - 400% more for an authentic when it doesn't perform any better than a good quality clone. I certainly don't mind paying more for a superior product. But there has to be a perceived benefit in features and/or quality if you want to charge 4 times more.

The shipping times don't bother me all that much and they have improved. It's not like I have nothing to vape on while I'm waiting for an order. But I do know the feeling. posted this in here.....

I am a committed FT shopper. Have been buying from them for 10 months now and I have been happy with just about everything that I have purchased. That includes mechs and batteries although I would not purchase batteries from them again due to the shipping time to get them. I have MVP2s, a DNA20, a DNA30, RBAs, clearos, coils. You name it and I have purchased it from them. Shipping times are way better now so I get most orders within 10 days. I read tons of things knocking FT but, from my experience, I can't figure out why.

Well, I've about had it with Fasttech right now.

I have been buying my e-cig stuff there a couple of years. However, my largest order to date at 75 dollars, still hasn't arrived after three months. Normally I order more, but smaller orders more often.

Despite multiple contacts via tickets, they are not helping very much. First they said they filed a search request with their post office. However, that was a month ago. They still haven't heard. Now they want me to contact Malaysia post myself, because apperantly there was a mix up with some of the customers packages. They were shipped by sea instead of airmail. But even then, the package should have arrived by now. That is by their own saying. Packages by see should take 1 - 2 months. It has been three.

If I do not get a refund by tonight, I am going to open a paypal ticket.

I am sorry, I know I should have gotten my own thread. It is not my goal to hijack this thread. I'm sorry

Love it.

You have to understand what you're getting. Read the reviews and the discussions and make informed, intelligent decisions. Of course a ten dollar clone isn't going to be the same as a hundred dollar mod. However, is that hundred dollar mod ninety dollars better than the clone? I submit that it is not, but that's just me. Sometimes it's just a crap shoot though.

I'm going to browse right now.
