How many Local shops near you?

I have been at this for only 1 month and have already been to 4 local shops near me.

I love 3 out of 4. I had a heck of a time even finding one shop near me before finding this site.

I stopped by one of my favorites today Vapor Vortex and told the owner Chris that I had gone over to his competition (.... Out) and his response was " oh yea- They are great guys over there". Which they were!

I was really impressed by his response and just reaffirmed why I liked him and his shop so much.

Anyway other than one shop (which I won't name) they have all been a bunch of great folks.

I actually have a few more yet to visit thanks again to this great forum.

So how many brick and mortars in your area and how are they?

None - but I live in the middle of nowhere.

I heard the one in Sparks is quirky.

I heard they sell juice at the indian cigarette store in Carson City.

Both of those places are over an hour away.

None near me online only it's a bummer I would like to be able to see and touch the product I buy but the ecf has giving me most of my info I needed to make my decisions

I know of atleast 5 here in North Carolina within an hours drive of me. I think there are plenty more just outside that drive. Have not yet visited all of them but fully intend to. I knw there are more online stores based out of NC. Several in the Charlotte are. I hope this grows to be a normal thing in society so we have more physical stores to visit. Lots of tobacco stores are starting to get on the band wagon too.

Zilch, zero, nada. Unless you count the mall kiosk (which I don't.) There is one but it's over an hour away, never been.

One weird little shack in a strange part of town that only sells knock off Egos and their home made liquid in one strength. Thinking about trying to open an ecig boutique here carrying a wide variety of ecigs and some of the better juices from good companies.

I couldn't believe how packed some of these stores were.

Friday at .... Out there had to be 15 to 20 people there in the 20 minutes I was there.

A couple of weeks ago at Vapor Vortex I spent 2 hours hanging out trying different flavors and they had a ton of customers come and go.

Both of these places have a very laid back type of atmosphere, kinda like hanging out in a coffee shop or bar. Very friendly and inviting and let you test flavors until you go into a nicotine coma-lol.

Anyway if your area could support it I bet it would do awesome!

I have 4 within 2 miles of me, there are around 15 or more in the "metro area" all within 30 minutes driving. I have only been to 3 of the close ones. I don't get out much.

I'm starting to think more and more about opening one. We'll see what happens in April with the FDA.

Four within a 1/2 hr drive run by Canvape. He's also got another 2 on the way to the cottage and another vendor has one also. Adam and his crew are spoiling us Another 2 vendors in the west end of the city- 1/2 hr drive.

The prices at Canvape stalls are the same as onlline

Not within a 30 mile radius but I realized that any local store probably wouldn't carry what I want. Unless it was a Caravela NYC flagship store.

Austin Texas has about 15 stores in a 20 mile radius of the center of the town. This includes Round Rock, George Town, Cedar Park and Austin.

I know that two of these stores are expanding another 2 stores each. Its INSANE here....

From my house, there is one a half hour away and two about an hour away. In order to get to my house, however, you must drive until you reach the middle of nowhere, turn right and then drive about 6 miles. If you see a donkey, you have driven too far.

However, work is situated right in between these three places. So after work the drive to any of them is not too bad.

I realize how lucky this is.

0. There are none in my area but there are smoke shops on most every corner. A lot of good that does me since the only one of those that carries even juices has an extremely limited selection (6 flavors from 1 vendor) and charges out the wahzoo for them at $1/1mL

Being a noob I had to look up what a Caravela was. Man I'm glad I did, that is a thing of beauty!
