I can't imagine the number is high.
Usually anybody buying that type of mod is on the hobbiest level of vaping and will be aware of the issue and probably a lot less likely to install a cell backwards.

its common to have OCD and absent mindedness....... absent mindedness has nothing to do with intelligence or level of enthusiasm.

Thank You regal55....i will have the balls and be the first to admit that i installed the battery backwards in my vaporshark rdna30....only had it a couple of months...I was preoccupied and thought it was right....BUT.....Waiting for vaporshark to come out with their new device....I called vaporshark and the customer service rep told me that there will be one released before the holidays....Until then looking around for something else....

What's your point?
Being a perfectionist is also a common OCD trait. Can I now argue with people OCD are less likely to have this problem?

even excluding absent minded OCD types (perhaps you are obsessing over installing a cell backwards?)
accidents will happen but again I posit it is not common.

Furthermore, I will admit the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence but I can't help but NOT notice the rash of threads where people fried their mods.

Seems even less likely considering a good deal of DNA mods have USB charging port, which reduces the need to constantly swap cells.
